Tennessee Presidential Candidate To Form Christian Party Outlawing Homosexuality

Darrell Trigg is running for president. The Tennessee engineer says God has told him it is His will that he will be the next president of the United States, and when he wins, he will dramatically change America into a theocracy.

Trigg will form the Christian Party, he says in his campaign video.

"The national religion of The United States of America will be the Christian religion," Trigg's campaign platform states. "Those belonging to other religions, such as Islam, will be free to live and worship here as now, with their own religion; however, the Christian religion will be the one chosen to form the basic moral principles of our nation, to give it a strong moral foundation, and a right relationship with God."

    This is so laughable.

While I think there will eventually be a significant backlash against "gay money" for its social and political successes, I cannot imagine anything like this fellow's presidency and "theocracy" happening.

Ah, but who's "christian religion"? You have to be very stupid or very arrogant to assume everyone's christianity is the same as yours. I expect Mr. Trigg may be both.

The man publicly admitted to hearing voices in his head. He is insane, and dangerous to gay people.

How will Mr. Trigg react when he is NOT the next President of the United States? I truly wonder how people like him reconcile the divergence between what they believe will happen and what then actually happens.

Several of the Republican candidates have already said that god told THEM that he wanted them to be president.
Which is it? Is it possible that one of these people is lying??? icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

God tells everyone they can be president. It's like in little league when everyone gets a trophy just for showing up.

What is it with you Americans and your insane religious people? In the UK hardly anyone gives a damn about it.

Well how many RJ members here also absolutely assured us that Romney was the next President? Gave us all kinds of poll results and charts that showed Obama could never be reelected, that Romney had the election cinched.

Problem is, when you cherry-pick your sources to produce the results you want others to believe (or in Robertson's case, reply upon God's divine whispers in your senile brain), your detachment from reality is a strong formula for failure.
