DNC Unanimously Approves Resolution Supporting SCOTUS Gay Marriage Decision

“Same-sex marriage is a constitutionally guaranteed right nationwide and can no longer be denied by state laws,” reads the resolution. “The ruling now recognizes same-sex marriages all across this nation and these families will now be protected under the law from the discrimination and mistreatment to which they have long been subjected.” - See more at: http://www.washingtonblade.com/2015/08/28/dnc-approves-pro-marriage-resolution/#sthash.zrW2bwik.dpuf

Rather gratuitous, no, metta? And no, I don't mean your citing to your own posts, though that's really a bit much, too. Should both parties now go about unanimously endorsing the Bill of Rights? How about the 1919 Treaty of Versailles? Brown v. Board of Education?? The Platt Amendment???
It's silly, posturing, political stunts like these that keep the Democratic Party in disrepute - and not just w/ me.

All five justices of the Supreme Court appointed by a Democratic president ruled in favor of marriage equality. All four appointed by a Republican voted against it.

Republicans are the party of no, of hate, and of economic recession.

Why exactly is it silly when the Republican party presidential candidates are all on record as being AGAINST marriage equality for gay Americans?
And why exactly do anti-gay conservative trolls feel the need to post their claptrap on this site?

Does this mean Hillary will give back the $58,000 in jewelry she accepted from the Sultan of Brunei who stones gays to death?

Does this mean the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation will give back the $100 million they accepted from countries who imprison and stone gays to death?

Does this mean Hillary will stop supporting gay conversion?

Here's Hillary with her former campaign manager and now NYC Mayor DeBlasio's wife. DeBlasio converted his wife from an out and proud Lesbian to a Heterosexual:

Which of the current Republican candidates have been personally supportive of gay conversion and the extermination of gays?

But don't say that to an RJ Republican. They'll commence personal attacks on Hillary as their answer, while simply ignoring the total bigotry of the hoard of Republican Presidential candidates. Four of whom who have now signed on to the latest NOM hate manifesto against gays.

No, you won't hear them want to discuss that, will you? But you will hear them distort Clinton's official record as Secretary of State, when she was doing what her job required in the field of international relations, what ALL Secretaries of State have done in the past.

In fact, what Popes have done, what Her Majesty the Queen has done in the UK, what US Presidents have done, what all world leaders and diplomats have done. Being cordial and "diplomatic" is how you avoid wars, open channels of discussion, preserve commerce, and lessen the forming of opposition to outside influences by the peoples who live in nations controlled by autocrats and non-democratic systems.

The response of RJ Republicans demonstrates a serious lack of world knowledge & sophistication. Which would be appalling if it weren't so suspect.

One cannot be that uninformed unless one has a REASON for being so uninformed. Ignorance is either an affliction, or a tactic. I think you can guess which possibility I favor with the Right Wing crowd here.

Deep breath time, lefties. This thread is not about the GOP candidates, or Billary for that matter, but the gratuitous actions of the DNC is once again overstating the obvious. Your search terms: can't-get-head.

If the DNC is overstating the obvious, with which you evidently disagree, then how do you term the RNC unanimously CONDEMNING same-sex marriage? Along with the hoard of Republican Presidential candidates?

Your lack of logic leaps forth again: nothing in what I posted can reasonably be interpreted as disagreeing with SCOTUS' decision. What I object to is the DNC's gratuitous pandering by adopting this resolution, for the reasons previously stated. And, just to make it clear, I disagree w/ the RNC's unanimous condemnation of same-sex marriage, however directly or indirectly it may have been made. As for the horde, leave them to heaven.

I'm not sure my logic is the problem here. And leave the RNC not to Heaven, but to Hell.

You claim you disagree with the RNC's condemnation of same-sex marriage, but you still support them. Your problem with the DNC is that their support of same-sex marriage is "gratuitous pandering"? REALLY? After their long history of gay support? And the RNC's history of unwavering opposition to gay rights? Who are you trying to fool?

I can see you are very good at rationalizing, to support positions that are gay hostile.

    I'm SHOCKED ... SHOCKED I tell you!

In other news: Obama was against gay marriage until he figured out in 2012, that there were votes to be gained by supporting it.

Typical Republican strategy, just as they worked to demonize the very word liberal, which for a while they succeeded, now they attempt to diminish actual support as panderings.

Yeah, these RJ plants here use the buzz words they're provided. The current leading buzz word is "pandering" that's making the rounds among them. As your quotes of MGINSD show. They're all too obvious & laughable.
