roadbikeRob saidYou are quick to criticize Bernie Sanders for conciouous objector status but you overlook the fact that Bill Clinton technically pulled the same shot by attending a university in Great Britain during the Vietnam War era. Many Vietnam Vets consider Bill Clinton a draft dodger. But you don't want to hear the truth about the ethically challenged Clintons because you want the most corrupt, deciteful, and incompetent democratic candidate for President, the hapless Hillary ho. You definitely do not have this great country's best interests at heart by supporting this power hungry whore for President. You of all people should know better but unfortunately the total opposite is the truth.
Let's get a few things clear. I had a college "2S" draft deferment myself in the 1960s. Millions of us did. That was a decision made by Congress, not by us.
I would have gone to college anyway, as did Clinton. Conscientious Objector status is a different category for which you must specifically plead your case, not automatic. It means you refuse to fight for your country, and claim a rare special exemption for yourself, not that you are protected by a regular category that Congress has designated, that they having been determined to be for the greater public good.
Within weeks of my deferment ending in 1969 I voluntarily enlisted, as a lowly Army Private. Bill Clinton is 3 years older than me, and shortly after I enlisted the draft was modified, and then stopped. It never applied to Clinton when he wasn't in a deferred category.
And your incessant use of the words "ho" and "whore" regarding Hillary Clinton negates your arguments about her. Now if you wanna be taken seriously in discussions about Hillary you can drop the childish terms, and discuss political substance.
BTW, I met her, and Bill, a number of times. She was a very nice & gracious lady. I must say, however, I always thought Bill had rather shifty eyes. But then I'm just an insignificant person, and hardly qualified to judge the great & powerful. As I assume you to be, as well, no more important than me. Drop the "ho" slander - your comments may get more attention & respect.
Now let's return to the point of this thread, the bizarre behavior of this County Clerk in Kentucky.
