Less than two weeks ago, Robertson made slightly different, though equally eyebrow-raising, claims by tying Planned Parenthood to "Black Monday," August 24's historic stock market plunge.

By his logic, one can argue just as easily that God is punishing the US for the bigotry and intolerance of Mrs. Davis and so many like her.

I also noted in his comments that he decries the fact that "five people in black robes" are able to determine the course of the Nation. Yes, Mr. Robertson, that's how our system works. I can say with certainty that if those same five people had decided in your favor you'd be hailing them as heroes.

The inconsistency in their reasoning is staggering, yet they don't see it. While I try to avoid ad hominem attacks, I feel compelled to say he's a sanctimonious ass!

If they didn't see it, that might be to whatever degree excusable as ignorance. This is not that. This is willful deception, carefully scripted.

Listen to the scumbag at @ about 1:00... "five people have determined the orientation of the families..."

and again at about 1:11..."this clerk who says I don't think I ought to ssssssssanctify a homosexual marriage..." Note also the sssssssnake sound. He practiced miss-ssssssaying that.

Not exactly speaking extemporaneously from the heart, is he? He's pulling shit out of his ass placed there by his writers, purposely embedded in his message the deletion of being gay as a sexual orientation by defining orientation as the property of the non gay family and imbuing the clerks office, a nonsectarian government position, with priestly powers of sanctification.

So I assure you that they do see it. And they also know their own behavior is precisely what they supposedly preach against, such are their deceptive practices in Jesus's name. Praise Jesis!

You have a perfect grasp of the genius of the men who constructed the American system of government. We're aren't a nation of any religion or god in spite of all the ridiculous rhetoric some spout to that effect. We are a nation of laws presumably based in reason, not emotions or "feelings" or beliefs.

The last line I bolded above is what I call a "rubber neck butt biter." As we admonish them to remember those words we too should remember them when those five don't vote in our favor.

I prefer to say the inconsistency of their reasoning is the only thing they are consistent about. It's as predictable and can be amusing if you like to hear people repeat the same idiocy attempting to make it sound more intelligent each time.

As for Pat Robertson, grass roots Southern Baptists are overwhelmingly as embarrassed and tired of him as they are with GOP rhetoric that's been just as pandering and empty. That's why there are Trump signs everywhere down here. Naturally however, the media will always seek out the fringe elements rather than the sensible regular workaday people when they do what they call reporting.

    I watched the video.

Replace the word "homosexuals" with the word "ni...you get the gest" and it sounds like what was being said years ago.

Yes, and the tsunami in Japan, destructive volcanoes, etc. etc. If it weren't for us, the world would be perfect.

I pay no mind to what that bumbling idiot Pat Robertson says. He is notorious for having diarrhea of the mouth.
