So, I have a topic to discuss. I would like to hear what you guys think. I often get the term "cute" esp. from girls. When it is from a girl, it makes me feel like my masculinity is challenged. It makes me feel like I am not fuckable for some reason. If it's from a guy, then, I feel complemented; but, it comes with the price that I am assumed bottom icon_confused.gif.
So, what do you guys think about the term? Do you use it often? I often say guys cute; may be i am hitting on the cute guys more. icon_razz.gif

It really depends on who is saying it. To some, saying cute means they're attractive or datable. While others use it because they're just huggable, but nothing more.

    It's confusing as fuck.

So, situational; I asked my friend if I look fem. They say "no; you are just cute like the kind girls' best friend". In my mind, I was like "Oh fuck no. I just wanna try some pussy" lol I guess I am just not very masculine to them. That's why I am trying to gain some mass.

You should just bang a girl and ask her if she thinks you're cute afterwards. It's got to do with the mentality. If you "act" cute, that's what people will perceive you as.

My ex called me cute and the guy I'm currently seeing calls me cute too. I don't think it's an insult in any way shape or form.

My box is bigger, thicker and cuter though. icon_cool.gif

    Nothing wrong with looking cute.
It's a lot better than being ugly.

When I was called cute in my youth (a very, very distant youth) I was offended. An insult to my budding masculinity.

Nowadays, I use "cute" to annoy my husband (SB Alert). With silly nonsense like:

"I'm exhausted! I think my cuteness for today is all used up"

"If it weren't for my cuteness, I don't how I would have gotten through this."

"I'm feeling especially cute today. Have you noticed?"

    And so forth.

Of course his response is to smack me, or come close. I love having childish, nonsensical fun with him, especially at our ages, and saying the exact opposite of the truth. Just to see his reaction.

Well, as the 2 of us always say, we have too much fun. Our lives are just silliness & absurdity, by design. We've already had the serious part, now we have the nonsensical part. At least until they haul us away in a padded wagon. icon_eek.gif

The one that bugs me, and thankfully, at my age I won't get called it, is "gorgeous." Gorgeous is a word you use for women, not men. Men are handsome, hunky, hot, sexy, studs, etc. Cute really isn't a word to use for a man but it's ok for a child.

Cute guy topping me is my dream, and me topping a cute guy is another dream too. I have two dreams.

I have used the word "beautiful" to guys. :/ I mean some guys are beautiful, they aren't just handsome.

I reserve the use of the word cute for kittens, puppies, children, and some twinks (the not so annoying ones).

I use the word "cute" when I find the guy edible, as in I wanna (well, you know).

Compliments about your looks are meant to make you feel good about yourself, dont question the beholder... wtf are you doing?

I understand that they are compliments; but, how do you feel about it? Each person will have a different answer.icon_smile.gif

You are right; but, it must be tiring to act differently than I am. Some people say that I look intimidating when not socializing or smiling tho. But, w/e it is I love me. icon_wink.gif Just wanna hear what ya'll feel.

At near 60, I *STILL* occasionally receive this compliment. Makes me laugh. Is ALWAYS a positive experience.

Sometimes some people use "cute" for pretty boys. I know I use "cute" all the time, as I don't wanna make the guy uncomfortable by saying "you're hot", he might think I would jump at him or something. Let's call it a harmless compliment.
Have you ever had a teacher call you cute in front of the class, at sophomore year high school? It's inappropriate, but at least it's more "harmless" than "hot", or "gorgeous". But let's not forget that it's just a compliment. I would take it as a compliment. a harmless one.

Same here... glad to be noticed in a positive way regardless, I don't second guess it. Since I'm not looking to hook up the context almost doesn't matter to me, but I can understand why this would be important if you were actively looking to get with someone.

I used to think that if someone called me cute, I would love to see putting their heads in a blender, stuff some forks up his nose and turn the blender on while screaming in agony

I am not sure if I still think that way
