Will you be watching the Super Bowl tomorrow, and where?

I just found out that I will. My partner insists that over dinner the other night I accepted an invitation for us to watch the game at a lesbian friend's house. Improbable, since I'd rather watch kittens & puppies being killed.

I thought what I said was that it was nice that SHE was going to watch the game at home, since she's a big football fan, not that WE would be in anyway involved. I suspect I'm being hornswoggled.

Anyway, what other Super Bowl plans do others here have? And I hope they're voluntary.

I won't be watching it by choice, unless there's nothing else on and I just wanna stare at the TV or I get invited to go somewhere.

LOL I didn't even know it was tomorrow. I love super bowl sunday just cause I know that not many people will be out and I can run errands faster. Almost like during the week while everyone is at work.

No, I will not be watching but I'll be enjoying it. icon_wink.gif

Exactly what I've done for a number of years: go mall shopping when it's absolutely deserted, have it all to myself. Amazing how attentive the sales staff can be when you're their only shopper. LOL!

But sadly, not this year, as I note in my OP. I still can't figure how I got tricked into this... ARRRGGGHHHH!

Red_Vespa, here are some suggestions for tomorrow:

    1) Wake-up with a cough and make it progressively worsen through the morning. Let your partner go alone.

    2) Go just for the social aspects of it. Watch the players' asses and figure out which ones you find the hottest.

There's more to the Superbowl than just watching the game. It's a get-together akin to a tailgate party. The game and team pride stir the atmosphere, but it's really about being with friends and family.

I will definitely be watching the Super Bowl since I've been a Steelers fan since 1972. I will watch it at my brother's on his LCD high-def TV.
    Go PIttsburgh!!
Get a ring for the other hand.

Well, some of my comments are tongue-in-cheek. It's really true that I wasn't aware I had agreed to watch it at a friend's, however, and I still think this is a trick on their part.

At the same time, one of my mottos is to "thrive wherever I'm planted." Even if I've been bamboozled into watching this stupid thing, I'll make the best of it. Why should I make myself miserable?

I'll find something to enjoy, perhaps along the lines you suggest, or just get fucking drunk. But I won't go away unhappy, I can assure you. icon_biggrin.gif

Poor Vespa. Well, I'd suggest getting really drunk and passing out.

I'll be watching the game, but for the commercials.

Great ideas posted here...yes, I second the commercials.
I'm going to watch with a straight/gay mixed crowd.
Should be fun...would be much better if the Eagles were there instead of the Cardinals.

(I never thought about shopping during a busy TV event. Maybe I'll try that another time for something else).
