Why do you hate him so much? Curious, who you'd vote for at this point and would BEAT the DEMSicon_question.gificon_question.gificon_question.gif

The media is now in "Gang Up On Trump" mode. Should be interesting to see how this plays out. I actually thought the standout last night was definitely Carly Fiorina. I think Trump held his own but he didn't command the debate quite like he did the first debate. His insults are beginning to wear thin. Time to clean up his act and start sounding more "Presidential" or it's likely all downhill from here. Bush was better, Carson worse, Christie had his moments as did Rubio. The rest just struggled (and mostly failed) to make much of an impression -- other than Rand Paul who proves himself increasingly unlikable and unelectable. Time for Jindal, Santorum, Graham, Walker, and Pataki to go. I'd like to see Kasich get more traction but I'm afraid he's going to end up the Jon Huntsman of 2016.

Too bad. I'd like to see Trump continue messing up the Republican field for as long as possible.

I don't hate period. However, I very much dislike his 7th grade name calling such as he started the debate out last night directed to Rand Paul, and without provocation as best I could tell. Reasonable folks are going to figure him out one of these days and we'll be on to someone else.

Regarding whom I'd vote for: Don't know yet, but I'd prefer someone with a term or two as administrator such as a big state governor and a couple of terms legislative experience with heavy foreign policy experience. So right now, Kasich probably comes the closest.

I'd really like Pataki to get some air. Carly was great, but probably needs to soften up just a bit. Rubio is great off of the cuff. Bush was better, I agree. Christie had some really strong moments. Agree on Rand Paul.

I have to say Rubio is the dark horse candidate. If he peels off Jeb Bush's donors he can tear up the field. Rubio is from Florida, that is a huge plus.

In a debate with fewer people, I cannot see anyone really going head-to-head with him except maybe Fiorina and Kasich. But I think Kasich lost his momentum.

The election is far enough away that any number of them could rise and fall in the interim. I think Trump's fall was always inevitable, for exactly the reason's CJAZ stated, he's not presidential, and his quips feel like a shtick. The reason he lasted as long as he did is because GOP voters consistently seek cult of personality types. Carly Fiorina is the next on the fifteen minute wave.

And you don't see that with Bill and Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama?

And I also think Ben Carson also bit the dust last night. Great life story, smart doctor, very nice guy, but it just isn't there for president.

Considering any of the republican candidates could try to void my marriage, same sex marriage is still a deal breaker for me, and I'll do what I can to reject the repukes. May they wallow in their own mud.

NOT True. Trump wouldn't do that, neither would Bush, Kasich, Fiorina, Pataki, Graham. The only ones I could see doing that are Huckabee, Cruz, Santorum, Jindal, or Carson...and they aren't getting the nomination anyway

Except that Trump's support INCREASED after the debate.
His lead is now three times that of #2 candidate Ben Carson.
