Halloween in NOLA

    Was supposed to head down with friends but may now be going good it alone. Have friends in the area but just wanted to see what RJ are heading down? So looking forward to coming down this year!!

    No not drunk but bad auto correct while working...sorry...I don't have accommodations now, I can't afford the place myself...I'll just probably stay somewhere a little farther from the action since it will be cheaper

    Yikes. I have bad news for you.....you have to make accommodations a year in advance for events like Halloween. I doubt you will find anything in New Orleans. It's one of the top destinations for Halloween world wide. http://www.homeaway.com/info/travelers/travel-ideas/best-of/seasons/fall-vacations/10-best-halloween-vacation-spots

    You might try Metairie or Kenner but you'll have a moderately long (and expensive) cab ride to the French Quarter.
