Tried for treason for this nomination? No, that's silly and not valid grounds for doing so. But, impeached for violating his oath of office to uphold and defend the Constitution? Yes, as shown by his arrogating power to himself and attempting to revive the dispensing power by enforcing only those laws he personally agrees with. However, not a valid option in light of the Demo majority in the Senate, whose blind support for him would only make it an expensive exercise in futility. Best to wait until 2016 and elect GOPers to the WH and to overwhelming majorities in both houses so we can restore what's been squandered over the past 7 years. And no, leftist alarmists, that does not include overturning what's been achieved in terms of gay rights in the courts, w/ which Obama had nothing at all to do.

By your own definition, presidents going all the way back to and including George Washington have acted "unconstitutionally". As with your "Obama posing with heroes" complaint in the other thread, it's clear your only aim here is to incoherently bitch about Obama.

My posts are apparently clear enough for you to understand, whether you agree w/ them or not. We take our freedom of speech seriously here in the States.

I understand perfectly. The incoherence is in your complaining about Obama doing what US presidents have been doing, on and off, for over 200 years. If your complaint is about the US presidency taking increasingly more power for itself, then you need to stop fixating on Obama and study a bit more history. You might also wish to consider the fact you currently have the most ineffectual and unpopular US Congress since job approval polling began, which might also account for the presidency filling that particular power vacuum.

"Mike Huckabee on Saturday denounced President Obama's nominee to be Secretary of the Army, suggesting Eric Fanning is unqualified because he is openly gay, and a civilian, and chosen for those reasons"

Hmmm, someone else I know experienced this, "unqualified for job duties" which turned into defamation per se

I want Huckabee and all his ilk outed as a members of the Occult of the Serpent. This right wing nut job is certainly not in favor of our constitution, none of them are, they just pretend and interpret via Faux News spin, the Occult really wants to dismantle it and replace it with their religion because our founding fathers knew about crack pots in the Occult, thus protecting us all from these people by truly separating their occultism from secular government.

These peoples favorite crime is extortion against good people. These peoples other favorite issue is to ruin good peoples reputations via smear campaigns, defaming and name calling. On top of that, they use black magic to make good people ill. But all these "supporters" of course have been brainwashed and lied to. Occult's, as old as time, can be very dangerous when crossed paths with. They are the evil, or represent the "bad", v "good" in all of us.

It is vicious, stupid people like this who create an atmosphere in which gay kids think there's no hope, it's bigots like this who encourage parents to reject their gay kids. There is blood on Huckabee's hands and there is no excuse for him. He puts America to shame.

Did any of you read the referenced article?

I am constantly amused and amazed at just how UNIMPORTANT FACTS are to politicians and their blind followers....
This position is always a CIVILIAN, non-military person...The lone exception was an "acting" nominee, who was knocked out over shoplifting charges...
I am not too shocked at the general ignorance and vitriol of Huckabee supporters, but some just don't get it....Obama is not able to be re-elected, some of the knuckle draggers still don't get that Obama won the office 2 times in both popular and electoral college votes...some really need a visit from the secret service to see what types of actions are being suggested...The comments are a rehash of all their normal complaints, with no details or supporting facts as usual. Has anyone actually looked at the resume of Mr. Eric Fanning?...certainly NOT any of the Huckabee supporters...You wonder if they can read, or if everything is just recited from an old script. Eric Fanning has been groomed and well placed to be nominated. His orientation has certainly NOT held him back in the previous positions....and as the article states..."Fanning is eminently qualified. He is currently the Acting Under Secretary of the Army and Chief Management Officer, and has previously served as Chief of Staff of the Department of Defense, Acting Secretary of the Air Force, and Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy, among other roles."...I dare say....he has a handle on the job and is qualified and the bigots are just going to need to suck it up.

I'm sure many of Huckabee's supporters are Confederate flag wavers. How dare they speak of treason.

Huckabee's supporters don't run the Republican Party.

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz runs the Democratic Party and refuses to rule out abortion of 7 pound 3rd trimester babies.

She states the Democrat position is "It's a woman's right to choose":

Yeah, your opinion carries a lot of weight here. Do see if there's a cure for your particular pathology.

Well said. Too many people can't handle the fact that Pres. Obama is smart enough to work around those who have no other agenda than to block anything he tries to accomplish. He could come up with a cure for AIDS and Cancer and they would work hard to stop him.

You are correct, he isn't doing anything that hasn't been done for Centuries by Presidents before him. But for some reason, in his case, it's wrong. ...hmmm, I wonder why..

I've read several articles that suggest he will be one of the most successful Presidents in this country's history. The fact that he can get so much done in the face of such idiocy is pure genius.

I can respect that fact that not everyone will agree with him, but I don't respect such ridiculous calls for his impeachment simply because what he pushes for is not what "they" agree with.

I wish his critics would spend more time coming up with better ideas and stop complaining. It's tiresome and transparent to say the least.
