I know this is the wrong section--but this section gets more views so I put it here.
This is Dave Palumbo. He's an x bodybuilder that was 1 year away from becoming a medical doctor but was sent to jail for selling steroids.
Listen to how he EXACTLY explains what carbs do and DON'T do for you.

He had a pretty freaky build before he went to jail. His roid gut was getting out of control though. Not sure if he still lifts/juices as much as he used to.

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidI think the pressing question we all want an answer to is:

You can eat. Just drop the frankenwheat! Most if not all wheat today is Genetically modified and not good for human consumption. I am 100% wheat free. Now, gluten free is just wasted carbs so I only eat/use coconut flour and almond meal flour

I was thinking the same thing as I watched his video.

All the overuse of gesticulating while he talks. He's either Italian or he's a MO like the rest of us. icon_lol.gif

I dunno man. But this video of him at home. Seems to neat/nice to be straight. icon_lol.gif

He looks like a comic book character come to life... I'm glad this is no longer an idealized image of men. I think the unnatural look turns people off, because people are more health conscious than ever when it comes to body image.

Pro bodybuilding has become pretty ridiculous. But that's sorta the point. They want to push things to the limit. Sometimes guys die because of it.

Physique and crossfit competitions have gained in popularity because those types bodies are more attainable and don't require as much drug usage.

You would drop body fat anyway if you run a caloric deficit. Your body abides by the laws of thermodynamics. I think proponents of low carb diets argue that low carb diets are optimal for fat loss because they force your body to rely more on your fat reserves to generate glucose.
