WHYY seeks videos of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/ questioning weddings to be considered for inclusion in a new documentary celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the LGBTQ civil rights movement. The program is scheduled to broadcast on WHYY-TV in 2016 and will be made available for national distribution.

The one-hour film will engage audiences with the story of the LGBTQ civil rights movement, its history and progress through present day. By connecting the triumphs and struggles faced by many LGBTQ Americans today to the movement that began 50 years ago in Philadelphia, the program will promote pride, compassion, understanding, healing, and justice.

Segments from selected videos will be included in a montage honoring the Supreme Court’s landmark decision making same sex marriage legal in all fifty states.

To submit your film for consideration, send us a link and fill out the form below before November 1, 2015.
