Miami or the City of Miami Beach? M-B is the one on the ocean barrier island with the beachfront hotels, Miami on the mainland. They're often confused, but a few miles and worlds apart.

    STFU you senile old man.

They are not "worlds" apart. They share a similar language, customs, and culture.

You haven't been to South Beach since 1952 so much has changed.

OP: Don't listen to this old fart. He is notorious for giving out misinformation and trolling threads for his own self purpose.

I agree. Miami is not touristy. Tourists get robbed. South/Miami beach on the other hand, is more touristy, but things still go down,

Well, it's kind of a relevant distinction (Miami versus Miami Beach) because a lot of Miami Beach (and Fort Lauderdale) folk wouldn't be caught dead on the mainland unless it's water/downtown-adjacent (like Coconut Grove or the Design District). That'd be like people from NYC visiting nearby Long Island, or even Manhattan visiting Queens (horrors!).

Well, the weekend is here, and the OP hasn't specified exactly where he'll be. Difficult to assist him.

I have been to Score and Twist via cab from a airport hotel on the mainland but that was in 1999

The crowd(s) were a bit too twink for me but I didn't have much time to find anything else

Is there a SoBe guys hang out, if not leather, at least levi? Or would I have to venture up into Wilton?
