    Your current fragrance?
    Favorite fragrance?
What does a mans choice in his cologne tell you about him? icon_wink.gif

It seems that some US guys think it almost too Gay to use au du toilette.
I agree that bathing in the stuff is never attractive.
From a European perspective subtlety is key, a smell for close up only.
A smell designed to mix with your own unique, naturally male, chemistry.

Where has this "too gay" concept come from?
Is it the result of cologne miss use?

No one wants to smell the same, resemble a celebrity, or sacrifice their own masculinity do they?

I'm wearing Pomegranate Noir by Jo Malone and Pasha de Cartier.

Almost anything with sandalwood in it catches my attention.

It's more than likely considered a worn-out fragrance, but I really like Armani's Aqua Di Gio.

Most of the time, though, and when I actually wear cologne, I wear Versace's Blue Jeans.

and it was the last time I ever saw the guy .... ON PURPOSE
Give me a man smelling of a nice soap and nothing else?

And I'll deal with the rest icon_biggrin.gif

The problem I have with most men's colognes is that the "fumes" hang around you and drive all the oxygen out of the air. I have to use something a lot less pungent and put it on the back of my neck so I dont end up like a fish gasping for air at the surface of a polluted pond!

I gotta say, I don't think perfumes really do people any favours. It's kinda like you're trying too hard.

If you smell clean, that's sexy.

I like to switch it up.
Right now Burberry Touch, Kenneth Cole Signature, YSL L'homme, and Kenneth Cole Reaction are in rotation.

I can't say what I like on someone else...I just know it when I smell it.

Chrome, but I know way too many guys who wear it now, so, switched to Silver Black also by Azzaro.

On another guy, I go for the guy first, and then their cologne always makes me think of him. To this day Curve for Men makes me think of my first bf.

As long as I take a bath once a day I don't smell. It's a rare occurrence that I'll even sweat. I haven't used cologne in years.

I like Aqua di Gio, DG - The One is also nice...

Unlike some posting here, I don't see anything wrong with a drop of perfume.... The truth being told, some people would more then use it, although they themselves think otherwise...

(like the smokers... they never smell themselves icon_smile.gif

I like cologne on other people sometimes, but I really couldn't be arsed. If absolutely need fragrance I grab the nearest one.

I prefer clean male sweat on 100% cotton shirts on a hot summer day. icon_wink.gif

The two mistakes guys make when wearing fragrances are 1)when they wear too much, and 2) when they wear too much to cover up the fact that they didnt shower! Ew!

Fragrance should be an invitation for a person to come closer to you, not a repellant. I'm all for a man's natural scent, but it's okay once in awhile to add a little extra when the mood calls for it.

    Anyway, lately i've been finding myself feeling nostalgic about the early 1990's. So right now i'm wearing something that, to me, recalls the gay decade;

    HUGO Hugo Boss

    My all time classic;

    Tom Ford

    When i'm feeling butch, lol!

    YSL Rive Gauche pour Homme

I've had that one. It is a very good one. My all time favorite is Photo.

But I don't wear cologne any more. It's unnecessary with all the scented body washes after shaves and soaps.
