Recently found out that my crush (for over a year) has a bf. So, I tried to reflect being a single and made myself feel better. icon_lol.gif

So, what are the fun things that you do as a single? Yeah, I can fuck around the town, but I wouldn't; it's just not my thing.

I have never been in a serious relationship. Maybe because I am still young and busy at school. So, I don't really know what the pros are being a single.

So, what are the things that you do as a single?

... is it just me, or does most of what was done there still apply to people in relationships...? like, they'll still do those things, but it'll either be together, or when it's their "alone time".

anyways, things that are easier to do when single is play involving/immersive video games, since you're not ignoring anyone who should be a higher priority according to society :p

I don't think that being single makes it ok to be lazy.

Being single does allow me to decide to be alone when I want to be alone. It allows me to be able to make decisions (whether it is moving, deciding what to do for the evening/future, etc.) without getting the approval of someone else.

I find it a lot easier to meet new people when you're single.. I think it's harder when you're in a relationship, especially for gays as a lot of our friendships start out as potentials and then get classified as friends.. I'm always meeting new people when I travel, but when I was with someone it was more about exploring places together. I didn't have the same opportunity to know the locals because there are different expectations.

No need to care about someone else's wellbeing. More time to hang with friends and family. No need to spend your money on them. And yeah like you mentioned, slut it up.

IDK how it is in Denver, but here meetup.com is a good, low-pressure to make new friends with similar interests. There are tons of groups for different activities. You can decide for yourself if you want to limit yourself to gay groups or go just by what the group is about.

Being single is great because I can flirt with other people without feeling guilty. I lose interest in others if I start falling in love. I fall hard and I usually don't get up fast. So, yea I will just let it happen. Right now, I don't know what I am doing. But, I am losing count of guys I have been with. Eeeeek... icon_confused.gif
