Apparently I have a slightly excessive lordosis curve in my lumbar spine and I'm taking the news harder than I thought. I guess I'm just a basic bottom bitch with a tooted patootie icon_lol.gif

However looking at some of these "masculine" "discreet" "professional" gays at the gym I wonder if lordosis is more common amount gay men.

Could be a weakness within the abdominal muscles. Try strengthening them and see if that helps with the lordosis. I don't look around enough at the gym to notice if they are gay and have lordosis but I think everybody has a little something. I, myself, have pectus excavatum. It is minor but it does make me self conscious. I had to work my chest really hard for it to look relatively normal, but even then my rib cage still sticks out on the sides which also bothers me. I know how you feel!

Thanks buttercup I do have weak and and very recently started working on it. I'm really all fucked up. I have a general right shift that has caused me neck pain since I was 10. I expected a lot of deviations but not the lordosis. Of course I use to look down on gays with lordosis so of course I get what I deserve icon_cool.gif

Lol im the exact opposite. Just got x rays taken of my back as my back has been fucked up for a long time. My lumbar spine has no arch at all. It literally is a straight line down. Started getting adjusted and I can already tell my lower back is starting to get an arch.

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidDo you know if you have an anterior pelvic tilt?

Even guys who are good shape can have this condition.

But as TheCodee pointed out, ab work should provide some benefit.

Speaking of which, if you do have an anterior pelvic tilt, you should try posterior pelvic tilt exercises. Good for some core stability as well as can help with your problem!

I don't believe I do. My chiropractor did not bring it up after doing xrays. I do have a crazy lateral tilt to the right due to my shorter right leg. I believe compensations from it is what causes my neck pain.

Thanks buttercup this is an excellent idea. I was planning on becoming certified in rolling in 2017 so going to a roller and getting their recommendation would kill multiple birds with one stone. Your a genius!

FYI: Not sure if that's a double typo or not, but it's "ROLFER" not "ROLLER."
