Some old guy just offered me help with tuition. I've been working for a couple years now, but I think I'll take him up on his offer, assuming there are no strings attached!

I gave him my paypal account, but he wants to "cam" with me first. That's basically an interview for a scholarship, right?

Bruh . . . don't hand out personal info. You'll expect college tuition and find yourself broke and named Hernandes Rodriguez while some con artist commits felonies under your name.

And if an old guy that you don't know offers to spend thousands on you, he' expecting sex in return at the very least.

^^It depends. Sex costs a lot more, but companionship alone can get pretty expensive depending on how much more decrepit the old guy is lol.

ask for it in cash, lol jk. It's obviously a trick, he wants the goods but will never uphold his end of the bargain. It's blatantly obvious he's just using you so he can skype with you.

Come on, don't be the stereotypical gay guy. Be smarter then that.

What I find hilarious is that the OP assumes there are no strings attached to receiving tuition $$ from a complete stranger.

Listen, if you are a young attractive guy getting offered money from an older guy. There is always strings attached. And that's coming from experience.

Just do Sean Cody instead. It's cash in hand and at least the strings are in plain view.

Not necessarily. I've given stuff to guys here, mostly at Christmas. They mention something in a thread they'd really like to have but can't afford, and I send it to them. Same with a number of people in this area, especially college students. Particularly technology to help them with their studies, like computers. iPads and iPhones, but sometimes cash to local guys whose circumstances I know a little better and can confirm.

But not any more, at least not online. I don't expect anything in return, other than a private thank-you. And I don't want it posted here, with this exception prompted by the subject and because of the lesson I learned.

Because do you think I got so much as a simple thank-you? I guess if you act like their parents, especially with the younger ones, they behave like you're their parents, as if these are entitlements you're giving them. For which no gratitude in any form will be shown, not even an acknowledgment. Bah, humbug! Let them fend for themselves.

I've learned a long time ago that people don't appreciate anything unless they have had to work for it.

So if you accept the tuition money from this guy, at least suck his cock. You'll respect yourself for having worked for it rather than just accepting a handout.

If someone offers you $300 to let them suck you and cum in their mouth, is it worth it? Or does it make you lowly?

I'm sure OP is playing dumb, but does this happen a lot on RJ? Older men offering money to younger men?

What the fuck is wrong with some of you people and your judgmental attitudes? Prostitution has been around forever, and if someone decides to offer money for sex, why can't two consenting adults use each other? I don't hide the fact that I am very generous when necessary.

Yes, I've been offered plain tickets to go see men from different states. And if it worked out well, I could even live with them. I feel bad that these men just want companionship, but at the same time I haven't lived my life to the point I want to settle down.

trilltalk saidthat desperation. how sad. icon_lol.gif wouldn't even be flattered if that were to happen to me. more like creeped the fuck out at how some stranger is willing to do all that without even having a single clue who they're talking to. wouldn't even take the money or any offer like you can keep that. think it's quite frightening how there's so many gay men that are willing to be too trusting simply because they like someone.

that's why it doesn't surprise me that there's scammers or credit card fraud people all over this site, ready to take advantage of desperate men.

Another perfect example of lowlife SpazNIGGER trying to demean someone for trying to make a living.

There's nothing wrong with what he's doing. Both are consenting adults that know what they are signing up for.

Maybe you should try something to earn a living besides freeloading off your whore of a mother....icon_lol.gif

I recall chatting to a guy from here who got a free ski trip to Vermont with his boyfriend, and never actually met up with the older man as promised. At the cost of having grainy cam screenshots posted all over craigslist in retribution icon_lol.gif
