    Hi guys,

So after months of saving and making time, I am heading to NYC.
Will be around 28 October - 20 November.

I have not planned anything to do or have to do, I need to sort out accommodation first.
If any one has suggestions on budget rooms or free accom please let me know. Willing to pull my weight in household and keen on hanging out.

    Take care,
    HD

Sorry I'm not able to help, but I suggest you should come to our rugby club's practice next Tuesday or even our next game this Saturday. You will meet people there who may well be able to help. In the past we've helped out players who just arrived from abroad. LMK if you want to meet the guys who run the team.

Check out Airbnb...lots of affordable places, especially if you stay away from the touristy areas. The East Village has some cheap rents, and the outer boroughs are typically cheaper.

There's also a site called something like "Misterbnb" for gay visitors. Can't recommend - haven't used it - but worth investigating.
