Hey guys. I've been back at the gym for about four months now and recently got bored with my workout-- to begin with I'd met my objective of losing 5 kgs, getting into my normal BMI and being ready for the ski season (I live in NZ and it's Spring now). I chatted with a fitness consultant and devised this schedule for my new objectives, which are a) more definition, and b) achieving a 15% BFI. What do you think? I'm going to meet with another trainer tomorrow to work on this further. It's a 3 days on, one day off routine, as follows:

    Day one: chest
    Day two: legs
    Day three: arms
    Rest day
    Day four: back
    Day five: cardio and abs
    Day six: shoulders
    Rest day

It's actually an eight day cycle, so I end up having rest days on different days of the week every week, which works pretty well for my schedule. On a week-by-week basis this means that I alternate between working out 5x a week and 6x a week.

This is a brief schedule of bodyparts to be worked, so there's not much people can critique.

Perhaps if you give more information like exercise selection for each day, set/rep/loading parameters, and planned duration for the routine, we could offer some feedback.

All I can say right now is the schedule is very upper-body dominate. With an eight-day cycle, the legs are hit only three times a month.
