article: "whose parents have a permanent domicile and residence in the United States"

Does domicile apply if that presumes permanence yet if parents of the US border born are, say, illegal aliens or even on a temporary work visa by which either classification would not presume permanence by their very nature and thereby be not domiciled but merely having residency here? Or is domicile determined by intent even if permanent legal status might be impractical or even if impossible for the parents to attain?

That is Texas for you, backward and intolerant. It was getting bad back in mid 2001 when I left and I am more than sure that the lone star republic is very conservatively oppressive as evidenced by the negative actions in the Austin statehouse.

Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal was born to non-native parents in the US on a visa...so whatev. The douche is also the epitome of cultural appropriation. No hipster worth his salt can match him in his jeans, cowboy boots and big belt buckle XP

I understand that many have come into citizenship under how the law has been without question interpreted up until recently and I'd imagine even with reversal should that occur those would be grandfathered-in. I was just questioning, if looking at the letter of the law, how domicile works relative to residency with regard to claiming citizenry.

Sorry but I don't follow the fashion and so your clothing reference was entirely lost on me. I'll just assume it means he's an bad bitch who dresses butch.

Does this Texas "citizenship" also require proof of circumcision for boys or does this happen, after the state secedes? icon_rolleyes.gif
