From all those eastern concepts, reincarnation has better luck at being real than karma.

But karma does serve a purpose as a moral concept. It doesn't have to be real as long as it helps you.

Same goes for those who derive morality and ethics from religious books.

I don't do things good or bad with any expectations of spiritual reward/pusihment. I just have a brain that will either make me feel good or bad those decicions. I have empathy. An asteroid can hit us tomorrow what are you gonna do? Call it bad karma because of how awful mankind is? The earth shits all over our little games, that's why there's earthquakes and tsunamis and shit like in the first place but mankind is the type to build nuclear weapons and continue on this ancient trend known as war regardless.

'Karma' works on a basis similar to Voodoo. For instance if someone does something bad to you and you harper enough bitterness towards the person, conjuring up bad thoughts as to how the person should receive payback. Then you inadvertently unwittingly curse the person. This makes 'Karma' very real. What goes around comes around, the saying becomes true. If you wish for something, be careful what you wish for.

Me thinks No. No more than god punishing people for committing a sin. But heaven and he'll are on this earth, here and now, and I've been to both.

It's all on the wheel. What you put out, comes back.

I've learned this living in Hawai'i and in San Francisco where "The island will either accept you, or reject you".

The difference is how you accept the island. As-is, or by trying to change it to your own way.
