I've been struggling with my weight for almost 10 years now, ever since I had to take steroids (prednisone) for my Ulcerative Colitis that I was diagnosed with at 15. I had surgeries to "cure" it at age 16, and even after stopping the Prednisone, although I was able to lose some of the weight, it came right back on over time and even more than it had originally when starting that medication. I truly believe it fucked up my metabolism.

Anyway, I plan on dieting/exercising hardcore after the holidays and this semester is over. But in the meantime, I'm wondering if there are really decent-looking guys out there who like guys that are on the chubbier side? I have a gay friend who tells me that I'd be surprised how many guys like that there are out there.

I'm not too picky when it comes to body types myself, I just like guys who have a nice face lol.

Anyway, where do I find such men? icon_biggrin.gif

The key thing is to make sure you're are happy with who you are and what you have to offer right now, even if you have bigger better ambitions for yourself and your future.

That said, here are some beginner suggestions:

    Websites: www.Chasabl.com , www.Biggercity.com , www.BigMuscleBears.com

    Smartphone Apps: Growlr, Scruff

Have you tried Chasabl? Biggercity? Even OkCupid, even though it's more general and not niche as Biggercity and Chasabl.

I've been attracted to huskier, chubbier guys almost as long as I have been attracted to muscular guys. I think it has to do more with size in both cases than anything detailed. Muscular guys just add certain aesthetic plus to their physical make up.

There a lot of average-bodied, skinny and muscular guys who look for huskier/chubbier guys.

So the short answer to your question would be - Yes, such guys exist you just gotta make an effort to run into them icon_smile.gif

I like beefy guys. Not jiggly fat but firm thickness. I'd hate to be with a guy who watched every goddamn thing he put in his mouth and worried about gaining an ounce of fat. Life is too short not to enjoy an ice cream sundae or cake every now and then. Abs do nothing for me. Give me a nice round tush with a little bit o' cushion for the pushin'.

One thing is not to change for someone else, but for yourself. It's great that you've trying to lose weight, so keep at it!

And yes, there are guys who exclusively search out chubby guys.

You won't be saying that when he's a diabetic and can't get it up.....

Just eat good nutritious food and YOU WILL ALL BE FINE>.....

Have a treat, indulge, but then back to normal the rest of the 6 remaining week days

mmmmmmmm, see this is where I feel many men fail at life and are still single. Men who always feel the need to always look good never enjoy life to its fullest. Because they always have to watch their back on what they eat and how they look, and will even translate their views on life on their significant other.

Have you noticed that the happiest couples are usually not the most super fit ones? and the super fits ones are always dead last in the race to finding someone special? I've learned that if you really like someone their flaws are insignificant, even a little tummy will seem like a spec of imperfection because if you truly love someone you're blinded by their good qualities. At least that's how I feel when I look at my boyfriend.

If anyone is going to lose weight it needs to be for their own fulfillment, not for that of anyone else. These hunks generally are not all that nice and not relationship material. A man with an average or even slightly above average physique can be much nicer.

Why do you look so incredibly thin in all your pics if you have a weight problem? I just don't see it. Are these all old pics or what?

Nope, all recent except for the one of me in the shirt and tie (that was a little over 2 years ago when I was at my thinnest in quite some time, due to ADD medication I was on at the time). I guess I carry the weight well lol.

Yeah there are lots of chubby chasers and there isn't a set place to find them. Just be yourself and the guy should like you for you.

There are not any confirmed areas or statistics of gay men or what groups they belong are attracted to.

Be happy for who you are, and stop trying to further divide our community more than it already is.

OP, you're pretty handsome. I don't think you should stress yourself on this. However, I always suggest that people step away from dating sites and put themselves in a position to meet people directly because the people you meet outdoors are more likely to have an intention of a potential connection versus someone who swipes or types away on their phone/computer.

I agree and meeting nice and interesting people where I go, parks (especially with your dog) lunch time while at work, going out trying places, just getting around and be known will help, at stores, be polite and people will remember you! icon_smile.gif
As now days are getting shorter, make time with friends on weekends to have fun! Any plans for Halloween? Get spooked and silly at haunted houses.. to give you and idea.

I find this hard to believe. Maybe you just see yourself differently. How much do you weight?
