Do you guys CHECK and read it? (My mailbox indicates that mail I sent weeks ago is still unread.)

Yes, at least I read my RJ mail. I'd say that two-thirds has been from seeming grifters or the like; and I'm sure that guys who are even studlier-looking than I am (if such can be imagined) further get lots of spontaneous mail from creepy dudes. So these factors may be disincentives to read RJ mail!

Yes, I check and read my mail. Most of it is nice, cool, complimentary, etc. . . only rarely do I receive something weird or objectionable.

Obvious, but maybe overlooked: One thing you might want to check is whether the members you're sending to have been active on RJ recently. When I first joined, out of curiosity I checked out listings for members in my area (wanted to see if anyone from my gym was on), and most of them were inactive. Inactive members might have blocked RJ mail, or changed their email address, or gone into the witness protection program, or . . .

I do read some mail and I sometimes reply, but I tend to be pretty wary, particularly if the sender is new, unverified or not already known to me. Apart from the usual scammers, I wouldn't put it past one or two of my old RJ conservative sparring partners to fish for some personal info via these means and then use it for mischievous purposes later.

I think the conservative guys here on RJ could give a toss about you.

Thank you. I hope you're right.

Yep, it's happened to me. I think we share some of those same conservative haters (sparring partner is being too generous). They'd create a new sock and try to draw me out with an initially complimentary email, to prompt me to write something incriminating or at least embarrassing.

But they weren't very good at it. Like you, evidently, I caught on by the second or third email. I'd block their email. And guess what? The account would disappear! What a surprise!

You're emailing guys that don't know you, I presume.

The super hot guys probably ignore a lot of mail.

Even those less hot may look at your photo first before deciding on whether to reply.

    Welcome to RJ.

You just posted an almost identical message. Not a practice that RJers engage in.

Were those emails from your sock accounts?
We know Art Deco has sock accounts---

Just to be clear, we actually know that I've never had a sock account in my 7 years of RJ membership. I've had one single account, and one account only. How did I manage over 40,000 posts if I was juggling sock accounts at the same time?

The only thing I've done is change my screen name a few times. With announcements I was doing it. What are the names of my alleged sock accounts? I rather think it's YOU whose online provenance is more than a bit questionable here.

most likely you're e-mailing guys that haven't been on the sight in months/years...look to see if it reads: "over a week" next to "last active".
--was a time when it had the actual date the stud was on line, but it's not good for business when most the meat is long gone.
there are actually dead guys with profiles still active on here.

    Welcome to RJ.

There's truth in this. He can try using RJ as a cruising service, but the direct hit method is generally not very productive. It's not like a Grindr in that sense, or an Adam4Adam.

And yet I've met over 2 dozen RJ guys in person (actually if I tallied I think it might be more), for friendly social meets, including golfing. Which happened over time, after chats back and forth on different subjects, both in the forums and in RJ email. And a ton of other guys I simply know to chat online here.

Perhaps our OP needs to take it down a notch. Just a thought.

You were caught using a sock account--
You claimed it was your partners-
You are a known liar here on RJ--
    Nobody can believe you--

    You are a liar--

    you have no integrity-

    You LIE

    It's what you do--

    LIE

And aren't you an SB sock?

3148Colonburst (formerly 43rudeparrot) displays the same A_D obsession as Southbeach does, so that wouldn't be an unreasonable assumption.
