Faith "Zephyr" - A Body-Positive (Not To Say Fat) Superheroine. This should solve "the anorexia crisis."

    ...sits on evildoers icon_surprised.gif

...who knew that one bank robber had been stuck in a belly-fold for three months and missed the trial icon_redface.gif

Nice. Read a quick bio of her. Sounds like a good member of the group. She seems to be a fan favorite based on the comments.

    Indeed.

    Bouncing Boy = Bach

    Big Bertha = Mozart

    Faith = Beethoven.

Every hero stands on the (squishy, soft, gelatinous) shoulders of giants.

A fat superherione is ridiculous. Does she do any physical activity? Is she an alien meant to look that way FOREVER?First fight he has, she'll probably have a heart attack or stroke ,or both.

She looks great to me. Instead of calling her names and making fun of get maybe you all should be proud of the fact that bigger people are being represented.
If she was a fit, white, openly gay man and someone called him a fag yall would be defending him.

I wouldn't have an issue with it if she was happy and it was shown that she's taking steps to control her weight to a healthier level, but at the same time saying "this is me, I love myself and I don't care what other people's opinions are."

You don't get that from just one picture so it's hard to say.

I don't think it's positive to have an overweight person as somehow aspirational though. It's not healthy to be that overweight. Representation is important but I think there's a difference between representation and endorsing/validating an unhealthy lifestyle.

Drawing a comparison between fat and gay just doesn't make sense either. They are not comparable in the least.

Ok...It is "make believe", fantasy...trying to force the fantasy of any super-hero to conform to the realities of normal human physiology, is kind of a wet blanket on the entire premise of what a super-hero is.....If you have a better story-line, maybe you should start your own comics franchise.... icon_cool.gif

Yeah, I know she's just a cartoon and all, but I kinda feel bad making fun of her. She has feeling after all. Besides, if I piss her off she might suffocate me in that cleavage.

    i don't like it .

    maybe i'm a bit jealous

it the feminist mouvement to say faty women are beautyfull . that men have to go out with them . the political correct way off doing thing .

while you see a way different image on the other side on faty men . even if you.r way far from those kind of girl on the image . if you got a small belly , you'r not much to look at .

i feel like their a double standart depending if you'r women or men .
