Carson Didn't Stab Anybody After All

Well, he really doesn't look like he would have fit in with either the Jets or the Sharks.

The lack of violent knife-wielding past may be hurting his support among republicans. Now if he had actually shot someone instead of stabbing them (of course, in self defense), that wold have really helped with the gun-toting republicans.

Interesting background, definitely a Reagan Democrat (tea party). However impressive medical background this guy has, I don't see anything in his bio that would qualify him as president of the united states. He does not even have any law background of any kind which I think would be required for the executive branch of government, that interacts with the other law and constitution based branches, legislative and judicial. This guy would be a complete "puppet" of the republican party, their lawyers and the other branches of government.

    Sorry, not qualified

Son of a Baptist minister and a General Motors employee (Detroit's Cadillac plant). Baptized SDA near Detroit- Gross Point boarder.

Went to high school, in downtown Detroit, near Detroit-Windsor bridge, JROTC training instead of autoshop

U of M medical school graduate (Ann Arbor)
Yale University (same as GW Bush), psychology major, probably a skull/bones member

Met his spouse at Yale but both from Detroit, they are both vegetarians

He has a school named after him, Dr. Benjamin Carson High School of Science and Medicine

Carson Scholars Fund, which awards scholarships to students in grades 4–11 for "academic excellence and humanitarian qualities". They founded it after reading that U.S. students ranked second to last in terms of math and science testing among 22 countries (conflicts with republican hated common core)

Is seriously conflicted as he supports creationism rather that evolution and anti climate change even though he set up his scholar fund for students of science, why not scholar fund for theology then?

Hes a "for profit" medical surgeon who probably had a tremendous amount of student loan paybacks but I am sure his well paid, blue collar fathers work at General Motors help put him through school too, no wonder hes anti socialized medicine

On the board of directors at Costco? On the board of directors at Michigan based Kellogg's cereal? Ok, he is definitely a pro business, corporate favorite (typical republican)

Another conflict, some Adventists have argued that his political positions on gun rights and religious liberty conflict with historic Adventist teachings in favor of nonviolence, pacifism, and the separation of church and state

Mixed mashed on LGBT issues, lets see what his wife and family say on the subject before entering an opinion

    I wonder what's next:

"When I said I was with the Black Panthers, I meant I visited Detroit Zoo when I was a kid."

I have always found Ben Carson sort of creepy. I'm not sure what is worse --- actually trying to stab a guy with a knife and trying to bop your mother over the head with a hammer, or making up such a scenario. Either way, this guy should never be POTUS. Maybe Surgeon General?

    didn't make any sense

    Did someone say "creepy"?

Ben Carson's house: a homage to himself – in pictures

The decor at Ben Carson’s home in Maryland shows that Donald Trump may not have the biggest ego among the Republican candidates. On display are awards, certificates, medals, and a painting of himself with Jesus

That's creepy. In my previous business, I've seen a few attorney's offices like. It generally means there will be problems.

Once again the entire republican short clown bus is filled with silly simpletons. It really doesn't matter which one of these unquestionably unqualified morons wins the nomination, none can seriously expect to beat Bernie Sanders.

Next Carson will reveal that he had 6 personalities and he tried to stab 5 of them when he was a teenager.

Ben Carson makes all this stuff up to spice up his motivational speeches and sell more books. He's a con artist who is using the Presidential campaign to get free publicity and grow his brand. It's all about money and selling more books.
Unfortunately for the simple-minded Republicans, they have fallen for this nonsense.

How come Jesus has a darker complexion than Carson does? Or is the lighting on the pic bad? I thought Carson was kinda more dark-skinned.

No problem with that, of course, but just noticing the discrepancy in this painting thing. I was thought Jesus was a lighter-skinned 1st-Century AD Aramaic. Not the Northern White European in later portrayals, of course, but even so. Guess I was wrong.
