We've got tickets for a lobster bake in a couple of hours. But in the meantime we're watching the "Not So Smart Ride", which is a take-off on the annual SMART Ride to Key West in 2 weeks, that raises money for HIV/AIDS agencies. Today's crazy race also raises money for a SMART Ride team.

So what happens is that guys get really small tricycles, like toddlers have. And they dress up in outrageous costumes, some with makeup. And they race around a marked course with orange cones in a parking lot. It's the funniest thing to watch. And then we'll have our lobster, along with some raw oysters for me, and 5 other seafood selections.

It's such a burden to live in our gay ghetto of Wilton Manors.

I took some pics, just snapsnots. If any come out I'll crop them at home and post them here later tonight.

Damn. I spent my Saturday pounding out post holes with a jackhammer.

They used to do the tricycle race thing back at my college... I don't remember what it was "for."
