San Francisco Becomes The First City to Ban Sale of Plastic Bottles

"Over the next four years, the ban will phase out the sales of plastic water bottles that hold 21 ounces or less in public places. Waivers are permissible if an adequate alternative water source is not available"

Just plastic water bottles and not all plastic beverage bottles? I think the bottled water industry will sue if they're being singled out.

Awesome. The next time San Fran has a major earthquake, there won't be enough readily available bottled water. You can drink directly from the bay short sighted liberals.

Maybe you can use your illegal aliens to transport water in for you.

Or you could just buy one of these like a sensible, practical-minded individual.

I just pictured the sight of millions of eco-friendly, practial-minded individuals crawling out of rubble with their $24.95 water pouch, running to the bay and filling them up only to realise their purchase doesn't turn seawater into fresh water.

The ones that don't realize it can't follow instructions, so I'm fine with them choking. Just like the idiots who ask me for directions to the Hilton at work when its one block away and there's a huge red sign on the side that says "HILTON", they're an unnecessary drag on society icon_razz.gif

Did you read the article. Water jugs and anything gallon sizedcand above will still be sold in plastic
They are trying to eliminate the single serve water bottle due to littering most likely.
SF is a litter pluaged city. Shame.
