The 'slut shaming' phenomenon. When does calling someone up on their perceived excessive sexual exploits legitimate communication?

Would you say that a person who rejects someone as ongoing partner is 'slut shamed' or ceases and already ongoing person, is that person who walks away slut shaming or does slut shamming only applicable to persons who are not potential sexual partners of the accuser

is this fitting the situation to the label or the other way around?
    anyways
In a discrete but judgmental way. Always good to know what your partner is up to, even if just a friend like your occasionally only spending the night. All this is so personal at any level. It is time to use the exit plan if they are dating the wrong people and or for the wrong reasons. Why be a passenger on a ship that is going dwn?

To shame someone you have to have the intent to cause them to feel shame. Walking away from someone you view is too promiscuous is not slut shaming. Shaming is all about the intent of the actions not the actions themselves.

I honestly don't understand that first sentence at all. Can you rephrase it perhaps?

    Wha?

If you are a slut, you are a slut, some people might accept it , some might not,, it's like you are trying to invent a new wheel or something, nothing to discuss here

Unless they ask your opinion, it's never OK.

Defensive passive-aggressive thread title made me assume it was another MMTM stigma thread, but it's actually his nemesis! You have more in common than you think icon_lol.gif
