Is this why, his right wing cabal, had these people killed, what's next to create, WW III? The Prophecy? icon_rolleyes.gif

Pastor Who Hosted GOP: Paris Victims Were ‘Devil-Worshippers’
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/11/23/pastor-who-hosted-republicans-paris-victims-were-devil-worshippers.html

After standing with Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee, Kevin Swanson says the 89 people gunned down in the Bataclan “loved the devil.”

A Christian pastor who hosted Republican presidential candidates a week before the Paris terrorist attack says its victims received divine retribution for worshipping Satan.

Kevin Swanson of Generations Ministries said last Thursday that the 89 people massacred inside the Bataclan theater were “devil-worshippers.” Two weeks earlier, Swanson headlined his own “Freedom 2015: National Religious Liberties Conference” featuring Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, and Bobby Jindal.

Swanson believes God will annihilate America for tolerating homosexuality and seemed to say God already made an example out of the Bataclan.

Well, I'm wondering where Swanson gets his information; in order to conclude they were all devil worshipers, I assume he knew them all well and has done exhaustive research.

Quel idiot. Just wish this sort of burbling got more coverage.

He sounds like a total idiot, but honestly he IS a pastor and considering the circumstances of the massacre, it would be peculiar if someone didn't comment on it. The band playing was "Eagles of Death Metal" and they actually were playing a devil worshiping song at the moment the killings occurred. Of course that doesn't mean everyone there was actually worshiping the devil but I'm sure from a Christian's persecutive they were.

KISS THE DEVIL

Who'll love the Devil?
Who'll song his song?
Who will love the Devil and his song?

I'll love the Devil
I'll sing his song
I will love the Devil and his song

Who'll love the Devil?
Who'll kiss his tongue?
Who will kiss the Devil on his tongue?

I'll love the Devil
I'll kiss his tongue
I will kiss the Devil on his tongue

Who'll love the Devil?
Who'll sing his song?
I will love the Devil and his song

Who'll love the Devil?
Who'll kiss his tongue?
I will kiss the Devil on his tongue

Who'll love the Devil?
Who'll sing his song?
I will live the Devil and sing his song

So even as a non-Christian, the irony is inescapable.

But since US Senator Cruz continues to support this guy, had attended his conference, isn't this also what Cruz believes?

Or if he doesn't, will he publicly refute it? Until Cruz does, he owns it, as the price of being a star attraction and supporter at Swanson's most recent hate-fest.

Mostly likely yes. Would you attend an event that was hosted by someone like this? I certainly would not. This should be a wakeup call to those who are considering voting for these people.

Most likely yes what? That Cruz supports Swanson's beliefs? Or that Cruz will publicly refute Swanson?

A bigoted, insane albatross like Swanson hung around Cruz's neck would please me no end. Every hateful, divisive word out of Swanson's mouth can be linked to Cruz. And imagine the international outcry, as Swanson is making the French massacre victims the guilty parties, deserving of their bloody fates.

We haven't seen lunacy like this since the Westboro Baptist Church, and here we have 2 Republican Presidential candidates (and a 3rd who just dropped out of the race) embracing this guy. Republicans, behold your Party in 2015 and your candidates. Are you proud of them? Will you vote for them? Well, of course you will, as obedient robots.

And then, we have The Donald... icon_rolleyes.gif

"These ISIS devil-worshippers have pitted themselves against humanist devil-worshippers. I’m not on either side here. I’m not taking the side of the devil-worshippers performing the concert; I’m not on the side of ISIS who are slaughtering the devil-worshippers inside the concert. I’m not on neither side.”

This is so offensive that it's beyond belief.

If quoted correctly, the double negative leaves me to wonder what he's really saying.

Actually, it's the other way around, Swanson is supporting Cruz. Swanson provides Cruz an audience.

And Cruz endorses Swanson's views and reaches out to his followers. Please don't try to confuse the issue in favor of Cruz. Senator Cruz sought this guy's endorsement, knowing what Swanson believed. He got the endorsement, now Cruz can can live with the consequences. Cruz has Swanson painted all over himself, by his own choice.

^^

oh bullshit, I'm not confusing anything

Cruz sought this guy out to garner votes and monetary support from his followers

you have no idea what Cruz's beliefs are, or Hillary Clinton's for that matter

very, very few politicians are transparent (Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders come as close as I think you can get)

What do you expect from narrow minded bible thumping screwballs, they will say anything even if it is idiotic, fictitious, and downright offensive to garner more attention and publicity. Go figure.

I think Cruz is also quite transparent - transparently evil, anti-gay, anti-civil rights, anti-woman, anti-labor, anti-anything not radical Right Wing, trying to impose an extreme Christian religious agenda onto the United States.

Now this one I agree with you 100%. I don't like Ted Cruz and he is totally unfit for the republican nomination in 2016.

Ted Cruz, Marco Polo, Gov. Chucklebee, Sick Rantorum, &al...

Ronald Reagan must be spinning in his grave. And Barry Goldwater as well.
