This kind of "cure" still would not be feasible. The Berlin Patient was a very special case - a case that required his entire immune system to be replaced through a very expensive, painful, and time consuming procedure. There are millions of people living with HIV, and less than 0.1% of the world's population carries the double-CCR5-delta32 mutation; there simply would not be enough donors to accommodate all the people living with HIV.

This isn't a trial for a cure, this is merely attempting to replicate the Berlin Patient for statistical purposes.
