Today, I learned of a sad situation. Sweden is having trouble dealing with the influx of refugees from the middle east and tells how they struggle to deal with FREEDOM. Facts are the culture stifles expression and so, when they settle into another country they bring this attitude and other moral (Islamic) values with them.

The Prime Minister of sweden actually believes his country is completely naive to think that these people could adapt to the freedoms of free press, speech etc. Especially, when a non muslim speaks out against their culture and faith. Assimilation would take a new mind set!!! They have a very hard time dealing with all the changes!!

This was taken from NPR or http://www.npr.org/templates/search/index.php?searchinput=sweden

In my view these people need to be taken home to the Middle East and with the help of cooperating countries a temporary refuge set up on the land of thier fathers.....

The people of Russia are still having a hard time adjusting to democracy. That is why they keep electing fascist control freaks like Vladimir Putin. Russians and freedom don't seem to mix well. icon_wink.gif

I think many Muslims who have grown up in moderate households can be very good citizens in a democracy. However I think there are a large percentage of the world's Muslims who are radical or becoming radicalized for various reasons.Europe and the US need to greatly limit Muslim immigration to preserve our culture and way of life. Will this happen....only when our streets run with blood it seems.

It is just not Sweden, but other European nations. This past Fall I was in The Netherlands, Amsterdam. I met an interesting Amsterdam couple both in their 80s., who made a life in Amsterdam, raised their daughter, and later the husband sold his business and they retired and now they travel most of the year, and come back to their home base in Amsterdam for a couple of days a year.

For the past 20 years they have had a Muslim housekeeper that fled the Middle East early in his life. He refused to assimilate and learned the Dutch language and knows some English. This man has other jobs and one of them is to take care of houses, etc. They have trusted this man for several years in their absence with their house, etc.

Upon them returning this year to Amsterdam they noticed the accounts were not right and his expenses and time spent cleaning or taking care of their home were not right. When the couple confronted the man on days that he supposedly was at their home in fact he was stealing from them. Neighbors negated his accounts that he was in the home or when the couple advised they were in Amsterdam and he was charging them- he profusely lied although the couple confronted him with the facts and paperwork to support their side of the story.

Eventually, he admitted it was true, he was lying when confronted of why he had done this to them in lieu that they had opened their home to him with all these years, they had also invited to their home for dinners, lunch, etc. and they trusted him with all their affairs and even when their daughter was their and they needed help - why have you done this to us?

He responded back - Because my religion calls me to do so - you are all Infidels and Allah commands me that is alright to lie to you and do what I needed to do to destroy the Infidels"..The couple of course were flabbergasted at this radicalism. He was fired on the spot and they contacted the police authorities on what he has done.

They later told me - How can we fight this Islamic radicalism, we opened our home and wanted to help him all this years, and this is how we were treated and how he repaid us, our nation is struggling with this because we continue to accept them, but our compassion for them hurt us. We are not the only one's that have had this experience, but it is so shocking because all these years we were so close with him and it a shocking we do not recognize him and he deceived us all these years of how he really saw us in his eyes.

The above is an anecdote. But Islam is I believe unique as religion to condone lying.

Telling lies or deceiving "infidels" is of course is totally self serving.

taqiyya i believe it is, is this religious type of lying for any perceived ultimate goal for Islam.

In most cultures lying is frowned upon. I believe most muslims who grew up in the US do not follow this. And of course people lie all the time. However I do believe it is noteworthy to point out Islam clearly gives an out for lying.

And if fact the only way to salvation is for furthering Islam. Which may almost guarantee it.

The Muslims missed the Enlightenment, and the Russians got it just barely, kind of second-hand. That explains much.

Hell, Muslims can't mix among their own religionists. Most of the ME troubles stem from power struggles among the various sects of Islam.

There is a general hatred of the West in the Muslim world. Yours would be a reasonable approach that any rational nation should adopt.

However, the Western political Left is the main obstacle. White Liberals hate the West every bit as much as the most bloodthirsty jihadist. I wouldn't even call them a fifth column; they are right out in the open.

Today, I learned that Obama threatened to cut off all federal refugee funds that support refugees in states who refuse the Syrian refugees. Now, I think Obama is a good Muslim!

Perhaps we should let the voters decide?

Some Syrian refugees aren't Muslims.... Aren't they welcome?

Let's prove what they are. I know you want them here so bad your teeth hurt, but really??

Anyone who meets the criteria for refugee status can be let in. However, most of the Syrians we're talking about do not qualify as refugees.

pellaz saidcant love all gods creations, you can respect them

I can respect their humanity but I can't and will not respect their religion which teaches them to lie to the infidels, kill apostates, etc. Their religion, despite their claims, is not from god.
