Hello my elastic friends,

Could anyone give me tips on how to improve my back flexibility, I know back bends but is there anything else I can do. My back is really inflexible.

How is it inflexible? The more descriptive you can be the more I'll be able to offer some form of assistance.

Those videos aren't really focusing on back flexibility but rather flexing the lower back (by tightening it) in order to stretch the abdominal wall muscles.

To stretch the lower back you'd have to do the opposite by stretching the back and flexing the abs toward your legs which can be done in many different variations.

Like I wanna be flexible in the fact that I can do scorpions, back walk-overs, and front aerials. I can do back handsprings but my back flexibility hinders my back walk-overs.

to your back walkovers, do you go veterbre by veterbre? What is your weight displacement like?

make sure that you work on back strength at the same time as well as working on forward flexibility too. Itīs just time and practice. You can start with thinks like locust, and work through the standard yoga back bends. Camel is good. Wheel...

Thing is itīs hard to advise when I canīt see you move and be there to help

Check out cats...they are always doing the back stretch thing. My trainer
recommends them

Just keep at it until you can do them. I can lean back and put my hands on the floor and I used to be able to grab my ankles
