Powerlifting

Anyone else here into powerlifting? I'm a size freak, and have found that the basic powerlifting moves have done more to add mass than any others.

Anyone working towards competing in Powerlifting? I'd like to make that a goal this year.

i know PLer look heavy, but powerlifting is not about the adding on mass and size, its about maximum lifts.

PLing is all steroids and gear these days now. I would rather watch WSM.

yup, i'm competing in powerlifting meets. but raw only--no lifting shirts or other cheat gear. it is good as one approach for building mass, but that isn't the explicit objective.

WSN dont use gears, besides you are watching someone lifting weights. with powerlifting these days, there isnt much to see with so many spotters on the stage.

And here's why you have to have so many spotters...I shot this one at the Olympia last year....

    I'm into powerlifting
I'm beginner, but my weights grow even faster than planned
Unfortunately I have spinal herniation, so I can't compete in deadlift and squat.

I mostly compete in strongman but I do powerlifting every once in a while. Hope your training is going well.
