What an obscene monstrosity. Since when is it a sin, even by any stretch of the religiously conservative imagination, to discriminate against someone in hiring just because that person is gay? You might think homosexuality is a sin but what does that have to do with a gay person's qualifications for an unrelated job? Rubio should be ashamed of himself for promulgating such hatred.

Rubio is what...5% in the polls?

Trump never says these things, and leads by wide margins. What does that tell you about Republican voters? Gays are supporting Trump 2016.

    That is cute.

I also support some or maybe even much of what Trump says, but not the manner in which it's said. I know much of it is probably just show, but he's got to ban himself from titter and stop the non-stop cat fights or he won't have time to be president ... nor presidential.

He has a congress that he has to work with so I'd need to see some real life proof that his behavior can change.

Given that this thread is about Rubio ..... I could support him someday I think, but he needs to show me he can run something first so maybe a successful term or two as Florida governor and get some administrative experience?

I doubt it. He's very obviously gay.

You know, I had those same concerns. But then I see Trump's four adult children are highly successful, and with their own families. How many entrepreneurs and celebrities have lots of fame and money, but their kids are screwed up? Trump scored home runs in all three areas. So I'm just gonna sit back and watch it unfold. icon_smile.gif

Yes, I think you're right about Rubio. I posted about Trump because the left uses these articles to paint Republicans as a bunch of religious fanatics.

He sure did. And I mean really sharp kids so he must have been something right and a bunch of it.

He's pretty viscous to negotiate with so a match for any Iranian or Indian that I've ever known. And the ability to effectively negotiate is a very important tool to be an effective leader.

I do think that incident a week or so ago of mimicking the disabled NYT reporter was beyond the pale. Most 5 yr olds wouldn't engage in that type of behavior.

Hehe..that's maybe part of his appeal. He mocks the stuffy, liberal NYT reporter who crossed him. The entire world attacks him and his supporters stand by him, with a few more admiring his ability to finesse. But I doubt this will work in the general election.

Hillary is totally incompetent, but will be very tough to beat. She'll have the caché of the media and hollywood support. First woman president. Clinton machine. Bill as First Dude. I don't see anybody but Trump who can blast through the coronation.

Trump resonates because he says what is on people's mind. For too long people are afraid of a the left . Combined with a complicit liberal media they change the course of the country while denigrating the majority of the country.

There are many examples of vulgar politicians occuppying the left. Who say what they think. Harry Reid, Anthony Weiner Rham Emanuel and Alan Grayson. Those vulgarities were dismissed as rhetoric and were secretly cheered by the left.

The "fly over country" and dozens of other vulgarities liberals freely use to describe there countrymen have had an effect. The country is crying out for balance.

Trump has beat the media at its own game. He has fed the media its own narcotic back to the media (Money/Ratings and a reality show).

But Trump CANNOT be President. His course vulgarity will not be a unifying force.

The future is looking bright for the UNITED STATES, the political science professor in office will retire and the political log jam will break. Even Hillary would do a better job than Obama.

I think the antigay movement has become as irrelevant to this election as Mike Huckabee. Our victory is secure, for now. However, 92% of republicans are still anti immigration. So, I wonder what's more important to Rubio, discriminating against gays, or creating a pathway to citizenship? If it's the latter, then he's in the wrong party. He needs to stop being antigay and run as a democrat. It's the only pathway to the oval office.

Yes because there is evidence she can reach across the isle and she actually had to run for election 2x in NY.

Obama won by default in his all black neighborhood and was basically given that Senate seat when his opponent dropped out.

He has hurt this country by polarizing it more and making us unsafe somehow to become some epic figure in history.

You vastly underestimate Trump. He's no vulgar, bombastic fool. He raised four well accomplished kids, with their own families and successful careers. Built a multi-billion dollar real estate fortune, and starred 13 seasons in the most successful reality TV show.

Most people can't accomplish one of those. Trump is the most accomplished person to run for president, since the days of Thomas Jefferson.

The Supremes also ruled anti-miscegenation laws unconstitutional. Will Rubio be undoing interracial marriage and throwing those back to the states as well?

Meanwhile, all the evolving on marriage for gay people is in right? I assume there's no extension on that? So that when this Rubio piece of shit might later need the votes of millennials, after they've come into their own and voting in more force, those who already believe Creation endowed Gays with unalienable rights to pursue some happy of our own, that Rubio doesn't get to backtrack a decade after and declare his delayed evolution on the topic 10 years late?

I mean, there's no grandfathering of evolving on this matter, right? We all kind of know what's what by now? No statute of limitation on his douchebaggery? He should go fuck himself and I hope by this he did.

It seems the only republican candidate who isn't homophobic is Trump. He seems to be gaining in popularity. If Trump wins the nomination, - he is so far out of it, it guarantees a democratic win (IMHO).

And Kasich. Even in my OSU days, as was the case with my high school junior and senior years, I was very very out and it didn't seem to bother him a bit. All you get out of him was a smile, which was/is rare from Kasich.

He was a year ahead of me so maybe he was just being nice to 'lil brother' or maybe it just didn't matter?

Forgot he even existed. Wonder why. (He's not a real presence among the candidates.)
