I just had a sample pack of C4 50x the other day and I have to say it was quite awesome. I wasn't sure if I wanted it, but the guy at GNC talked me into buying CN3, which is also pretty awesome for what it is, but it's stimulant free, and I want something to give me at least a litle boost. So, I was on the Cellucor website and I saw that they recommend stacking CN3 with the C4 Ripped, which I also picked up because they were having a BOBO 50% off sale. So I figured why not? My question is, have any of you tried that combo and if so, how was it? Was it too much? Just perfect? And also I'm wondering if the CN3 stacked with the C4 50x would be ok, or if that would be too much. I don't wanna end up in the hospital from mixing too much of this stuff. I wouldn't say i'm sensitive to stimulants by any means, but I'd like to read some other people's experiences on the mixture. I had a scary experience with these pre workout drinks before. Of course, the drink wasn't entirely to blame, but I don't want to die over it! LOL

I appreciate all input! Thanks guys!icon_wink.gif

I have had issues with Caffeine products so I tend to stay away from those, and also be careful with Beta Alanine and Arginine quantities. These amino acids in essence are stimulating the flow of blood into the muscle. I know some guys do not follow the recommended (scoop) dosages and overdue the adverse events of increase tingling and flushing of the face to stay in peak performance or continual growth muscle that we all want. However, for me I recall one time that I overdid it, and my heart was racing like mad not to mentioned the tingling of my skin for a couple of hours.

This is why I review the grams or micrograms per scoop of these ingredients. I like BCAA from Cellulor and when I use C4 I am careful of how much I use. I know it does give me that extra energy boost that I need for that next rep or exercise. Another test I have done when I need a real boost and maybe I did not have water with me...dip your finger in the C4 with the powder then place it in your will give you an immediate boost and will give you a sensitivity measure of how much you can tolerate as well. Only you and your body know how much you should push it, with everything I say in moderation. It is when moderation that is not followed that guys end up in trouble with a health issue.

Just take one pre-workout. Don't spend all that money on so much. GNC guys push products, and some know shit, and some don't, and some will take advantage of a beginner.

IMO, the ingredients you need are creatine and caffeine. Take a look at the back of the bottle under "supplement facts" and make sure these are present. Instead of buying two pre-workouts, make sure to get one that has the two important ingredients. Save your money for food, because that will be your biggest expense.

The one I use and like is BSN's N.O.-Xplode.

I also have something containing sugar with my pre-workout: I'll have the drink with a couple cookies, about a half hour before lifting.

If you have caffeine sensitivity, try taking half the recommended dose.

You don't need preworkout supplements. It's just shitloads of caffeine and proprietary mystery ingredients. So I'd say it's pretty risky to be stacking these things.

If you need an energy boost before a workout, drink a cup of coffee. Or buy caffeine pills if you're not a coffee fan.
