brought to you by the Onion News Network.

(and yes, I know what the Onion entails ;-) There is no need to point the obvious...at least not yet!)

    Never seen the onion. Cool.

You know, you could turn this into a real subject for discussion, tongue-in-cheek aside.

From what I understand, the Native American culture looked upon homosexuals as being "two spirited", those who had a connection with both the male and the female side -- someone mystic and rare.

Perhaps, one could argue, America's homosexuals are a precious resource which should not be wasted on war. Perhaps we are really the ones who hold society together, who provide the cultural stimulus for high culture.

Just a thought. All I know is that so many people have, for some reason, found it important to protect me (I find this amazing), and revere me. Is it coincidence or is there something to this?

    On the other hand...

icon_lol.gif Yes dear, but for the men in white coats with that funny protective jacket with all the bucklesicon_wink.gif; it's their job to protect you, and when they do their job well they help all of us. We are all very grateful.icon_lol.gif

I'm definitely not too precious to risk in combat. Hell, I'm rated as an expert rifleman with the M-16 and expert pistol shot with the M-9. icon_biggrin.gif

Combat is something that I think a lot of people could benefit from a bit of. Then again I also believe in conscription but that is a subject for another day.

You're right... it goes deeper and gets a bit more complex than that, but that's the basic idea.

The buckles look good, by the way. icon_lol.gif
