So, I'm a pretty lean guy. Ive been working out pretty hard since i made this (unupdated) profile so I have some nice definition going on all over my body.

My goal over the past 6 months has been to get stronger and ripped-er but not necessarily bigger, in the muscular sense.

HOWever, the one muscle I want to get much bigger is my ass! I want it to be huge! I mean like, the kind that black guys yell at on the street. The kind where you can slap it and then ride the waves! The kind that has enough room to transport narcotics across international borders if necessary!

So right now i have a taught little ass like you would expect of someone with my build, what I want to know is, how do I make it big and bubbly? Most of the excercises suggested by the trainers at my gym seem like they're going to give me one of those freakishly cut asses that looks like it was made with right angles. And I have no problem with core work but, come on, I need something more interesting to do than squats all the time.

Give me suggestions! If your plan works then you win a picture of the finished product! Just kidding my b/f would stab me if I did that.

Squats. Front squats. Lunges. Hack squats. Leg presses. Stiff leg dead lifts.

Think about the movement, and there you go.

Some gyms have buttock machines / gluteus machines.

Eat tons of cornbread. I did. My ass isn't flat as a pancake anymore.

    Booty food, ftw.

I believe alot of how your ass looks is mostly genetics. My friend who has been working out much longer then me and more muscular has a flat ass. However I have a bubble one and do nothing for it.

Those really silly looking leg lifts that you always see girls doing seem to target the buns pretty well (the one where you're on all fours and you lift up one leg so that it's parallel to the floor and then lift it up as high as it will go and hold it there until you're screaming). The only problem is that you won't get bulk from an exercise like that.

I'm Jewish. The Dominican boyfriend of a friend of mine once said to him after we met, "For a white guy, he's got a great butt."

But my father had virtually no butt at all, something I never noticed till he complained about it one day.

I do think it's mostly genetics and there's a real limit to what you can do for this body part. You can make it harder but I'm not sure if you can make it appreciably bigger without surgery. But maybe you can. Making my butt bigger has never been something I needed or wanted to do.

Squat heavy. Deadlift heavy. Eat heavy. It's what I do, and my ass is huge. However, there's no accounting for genetics... it's possible that your ass just won't get very big.

But the single best way to get a bigger ass is to get bigger everywhere else...

This is more or less true if you've been working out for a long time and haven't seen any progress. Even back when I weighed 105lbs, my ass and legs were disproportionately larger than everything else... Which made the hideousness of my skeletal upper body even more grotesque.

    *shudder* Ugh, high school...

I think it is genetic and there is only so much you can do about it.

    Indeed, I stand corrected.

I have always wondered about these cock socks, bubble butts, and air breasts. I mean at some point one is going to be naked and it is going to be to clear that one doesn't have a humongous cock, doesn't have buns that can crack walnuts, and doesn't have large breasts.

Isn't it better to improve yourself naturally and just be who you are?

no really, squating is the best, but also donkey kicks are good to
    isolate the butt.

Be careful not to let your hip rotate when you do them or you will
make your ass look wider rather than make it stick out more, which is
    clearly the more aesthetic modification.

Do both if you really want a big, tight booty. However, for the
squat, do the low-bar back squat:
Normally you set the bar on top of your shoulders. Instead, place the
bar a couple of inches lower (there should be another ridge on your
back where you can place it). This will make you use your hips more
and, as a result, give you stronger booty magic.

    Don't forget to eat!

I disagree. IMO, there's no reason why you can get muscular hypertrophy on other parts of your body, but not glutes. Def squats and lunges, but I would add in single leg deadlifts and high bench steps to activate glute med and minor (that'll make it high and tight) and some plyo box jumps, squat jumps, and jumping lunges. Basically stated, powerful and explosive muscle is big muscle.

You're practically writing in a foreign language, trainerkp, but it reads like an affliction.
