Anyone getting messages from women?

I have got two mails from women........I think.

Well I know one was, as she said she was.

They want to have a relationship with me, and one mentioned children.

I love children, and that is the part of being gay that I don't like, but I am gay and wonder what part of gay do they not understandicon_question.gif

I am also in a Monogamous Relationship. What part of that do they not understandicon_question.gif

They say they have checked out my profile, but obviously they did not read it all. When I get those mails I have to go and check my profile to see if someone has changed iticon_smile.gif

I also get those from men.

The one thing I notice is they always give a private email address, and ask me to mail them there an not on realjock.

I reply to all mails, so I reply to them on realjock, but they never get back to me.

Just wondering if anyone gets the same thing?

    Mike

Yeah, I get them, too. They're spammers, and I simply delete the mails, unanswered.

Yep, I just deleted one. I also got one from some guy claiming to be from England, but the english was so bad it was nearly incomprehensible. There's been some back and forth email, but I'm betting he asks for money soon.

    Yes Mike,
Just received one of those this morning with the request to get to know me and the relationship thing. I have to admit it sounded canned. I wondered if it was a scam of some kind... to get one interested and then get private info or ask for a course of action that would be deemed inappropriate or even illegal.

Yeah, it's important to delete those things as quickly as possible. Just last night, there was one in my in-box, purporting to be from my sister-in-law. Something about bringing tools over and fixing a leak in the basement.
    Preposterous.

You mentioned something else that REALLY REALLY irritates me. That is when people ask me questions in emails that are clearly answered in my profile:

    1. How old are you? WHO LIES ABOUT BEING 39? If I were to lie I would say 30 or 35.

    2. Are all your pics recent? Why the hell would I put up fotos of my childhood or young adulthood here? Its a workout site not a family foto album. I honestly can't see the point in faking fotos either.

    3. Are you gay? I don't know where to start.

    4. Where do you live? The only other answer I can think of is, "in my flat."

I also despise cam requests, offers to date, and requests to see me naked. I wrote I want to make friends cause I want to make friends. If I wanted a long distance relationship with a virtual reality or broadcast my wily I would've said so.

Sorry if I sound angry, I have been getting some spam and then these questions and requests lately.

I was getting those weekly when I first joined. I'll admit that it was tempting -- rescuing an interned refugee and gaining an eternally grateful, loyal cook and housekeeper -- but no, the timing's all wrong. Still... Peanut Soup, Chicken Yassa, Fufu... YUM!

I haven't received one of those in many moons -- I fear my cross-over appeal may be waning in some over-seas markets.

Just report the email. RealJock is very good about killing the profiles.

I don't know that they annoy me, but I do find them odd. I mean are they a joke are they a scam, or what? And by saying you are a woman one a gay fitness site what sort of response do you think you'll get, and what relationship from trolling around on a gay site?

They're a scam. If you were to engage them in dialog via email, you would ultimately be hit up for money. The lonely brother of a friend of mine was totally taken in by a Russian girl, and he didn't figure out he'd been scammed until after he'd wired her money to buy a plane ticket. She screwed up and sent him an email that she had already sent him weeks earlier, and he realized she was just sending out canned messages and probably to more men than just him.

I think paradox has hit the nail on the head.

They have to be spammers. Why cant they communicate on realjock mail. I think they just want to get your email address, and start sending you all sorts of stuff.

The guys that try this with me, seam to be all Russian.

    n8dagrt, I thought I was special tooicon_smile.gif

If I was single no one would hit on meicon_lol.gif

Thanks to all for your input.

    Mike

paulflexes... I got the same exact email... except change the name to gloria. icon_rolleyes.gif

The whole time I was reading it, all I could think of was "What part of "gay" don't you understand?" Of course, I think the same thing when I get messages on MySpace from girls wanting me to watch their cam... icon_lol.gif

Its all spam... or a phishing scam designed to get personal info and get credit cards in your name... icon_evil.gif
