What does Maryland's legislation on same sex marriage have to do with State Department businessicon_question.gif This sounds like inappropriate use of State Department time and resources.

If it is court order then so be it. What exactly is the role of the State Department or in this case the role of Secretary of State. Do they govern state, domestic and foreign policy; and if so, in what capacity, to what extent and to what limitations?
It may be very well relevant and justified in expenditure and resource after all , I do believe there was congruent concern for transparency for state and federal government departmental agenciesicon_question.gif

It's not so much what's in the existing emails that concern me so much as what's in the ones she deleted.

Maybe not so much as that since Court order request 82% of emails. icon_question.gif

I've read they said she has done this, but is it out of context? She did not use the state email system but rather a personal email system. Which isn't considered state domain?? The rule of law I would assume is particular in this private domain vs. public domain. Moreover, it matters if her personal account was used in Official state capacity? If it wasn't and was used only for Personal Business and not under the authority/ or representing herself as Secretary of State in the emails from her private server account; then she has done nothing underhanded.
Purely from a personal interest,I would be curious to learn the letter of law regarding personal emails servers vs. Government email servers in state related issues.

Justice Department rules Hillary Clinton followed law in deleting emails

"The political views of The Washington Times are often described as extremely conservative.[48][49][50] The Washington Post reported: "the Times was established by Moon to combat communism and be a conservative alternative to what he perceived as the liberal bias of The Washington Post."[5]

Let's start with who the Washington Times is:

"The Washington Times is a daily broadsheet published at 3600 New York Avenue NE, Washington, D.C., United States. It was founded in 1982 by the founder of the Unification Church, Sun Myung Moon and was owned by News World Communications, an international media conglomerate associated with the church, until 2010 when it was purchased directly by a group led by Moon."

Yes, I support gay marriage. No, I'm not at all pleased with the way it was achieved, and the more that comes out about it, the less pleased I am. CJ Bobs got it right: the greater glory would have come at the polls, not in the courts, let alone in the back corridors of Billary's State Dep't. It's tactics like this that give the religious right the ammo they need to discredit us.

People current with current events know who owns the WT. As for the purportedly "false statements," they are ??? That's the pending question, not the messenger's credentials.

Perhaps we should be more concerned by the voluminous contents of President Dubya Bush's deleted emails.

I wasn't aware he used a private email server to conduct all of his business in the capacity of President.

Now go back to criticizing people's belly buttons. You're much better suited to that.

Rather! And, can you blame us Yanks for looking to the future - read, post January 2017 - in light of the neglect and malfeasance of the past 7 years? Probably, but "yours is not to judge."

You were graced with Baroness Thatcher; we have to put up with this whore to self promotion. Can we talk? Didn't think so.

This sounds like a violation of the Hatch Act. Tack on another prison term Rodham gets away with.
