    Oh course it is.Anything about minorities,racial profiling,the plight of SYRIAN refugees,gays,transgendered people,illegal immigrants will win awards.Because for the longest time the left has controlled Academia,Hollywood,The Nobel Prize Committee,most of the media.If this movie was about a young girl's embrace of Catholicism do you think it would be warmly welcomed.It is what it is but let's be real.
