That part of the world is well-known for counterfeit expensive drugs (often made in China). If you got the drug for $4 in India, how sure could you be that you were getting the real thing?

Wossname is in jail for ripping off other rich scumbags, not for ripping off patients. They're all doing it, and bragging about it to their investors.

The HepC thing is fully licensed - they are forcing people to take the pills right in the pharmacy, to prevent folks from selling them to the US on the Internet.

Also of potential interest to this crowd, is that Gilead is paying Indian pharmaceutical companies not to export generic Truvada, which sells for about $50 a month in the rest of the world, but $1600 in the US.

because the Indian drug is a licensed Gilead product

ACA is a 11,000 page document. Remember congress woman Pelosi saying, "We have to Pass it to see what's in it". She is the typical liberal lamb being taken to slaughter by gangsters like Obama and Gruber. If you read any part of it ( other than the title) you will realize it's written to allow Enron like abuse. Americans are too stupid to read and gullible enuf to trust their elected crooks so you pay the price when it comes to buying drugs. I just bought an anti biotic for a sinus infection that cost $ 36 per pill! I bought it from Walgreens but it said it was manufacturer in India. An online Indian pharmacy sells it for at 6 pills for 3 bucks.

Are conservatives in favor of allowing Americans to buy prescription drugs from over seas? Were they inn favor of allowing Americans to buy prescription drugs online from Canadian pharmacies?

the US healthcare system is a giant, corrupt con-game (and the outcomes are no better than nations spending 40% less)

the Mafia would be proud of it
