//Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants in Syria’s eastern city of Deir ez-Zor have executed a teenage boy by throwing him off a roof for being gay, reported Syrian independent press agency ARA News quoting local sources. The report quoted an informed source as saying that the 15-year-old victim was arrested on charges of homosexuality after being captured ‘in the house of an ISIS leader’ earlier on Thursday.//

And what happens to the leader who had gay sexual relations? They are completely depraved

That's horrible. My mom is a Southern Baptist and the worst she's done so far is cut off communication with me. She may even cut me off financially, but that's nothing compared to losing your life for being who you are.

My heart goes out to all those who are in fear for their lives just for being themselves. Can they seek asylum in another country that has equal rights for all people?

Sad to say but the only effective way for gays and other oppressed groups to live safely and gain equality is to fiercely fight for major change in their own countries not flee to either Europe or to the U.S. I feel very bad for these guys but it is time to push for major societal changes in these countries and this is where the UN needs to come in to help and assist in bringing on these societal changes in Syria, Iran and other troubled countries struggling under oppressively brutal dictatorships. This ISIS cell also needs to be crushed and put out of existence because these guys are sick minded whack jobs who are out to terrorize the rest of the world.

How does gay people fight the horrible douches that are ISIS? People need support and empowerment. Where is that available in Syria and how do human beings fight their cowardly ways that is otherwise known as self- preservation.

homosexuals are openly and legally oppressed/killed/discriminated in every country with an islamic state and muslim majority yet you don't have the balls to say MUSLIMS instead you use the term ISIS, seriously, what an idiot and spare more the bal bla bla that not all muslims are homophobes when the majority is and the majority makes the decisions

Go check your facts you airhead. Muslims are not legally killed in every Islamic country. I live in a country with the second largest Muslim population in the world and among the first person who accepted me for who I am is a Muslim. I can cite many Muslim who have done great deeds in the world such as organisations like Al-Fatiha but people like you only dances to the tune of hatred. You don't need balls to hate, on the contrary...

Nowhere is majority of the population making the decisions, not even in the most efficient democracies of the world.

where did I say that muslims are legally killed in every islamic country, airhead? I love how you cherry pick what you like and make things up. Gee I wonder how come every islamic country has severe homophobia and not one has made at least a tolerant society for gays if the majority does not make the decisions, how come every country where muslims become a majority civil war outbreaks and genocide of ''non believers'' like in Turkey with armenians, in Libya with Christians, Kosovo and every islamic country with Jews and the list could go on an on and how come if the majority does not make the decissions in every country where muslims are the majority, violence and severe homophobia happens? people like me just point out of the reality of the situation while people like you just cherry pick what they like and ignore the issues which makes it even worse and the cause of most of the atrocities happening in islamic world and now in western world since muslims emigrated and the cause is clear, it is the muslims with most harboring violence oppression, degradation coming from the quran and their violent pedophile prophet

Talking to you is like talking to a wall. One gets the same response over and over again to the point that it bores one to death.

In essence, I agree with you that there are specific problems that linger on Muslim community in regards to Islam but that's where the agreement ends.I don't make it a definitive that all human beings that are adherents of Islam are evil whose one objective is to destroy the whole world.

There are Christian countries that are worse off than some of the Muslims countries for instance, Uganda.

Democracies in the middle east has been effectively destroyed where tribal nut jobs have usurp to power much like the continent of Africa through capitalistic colonisation and exploitation of power and resources.

Don't you think that if these dictators were indeed listening to people there, the Arab uprising would have never had? And if they are listening, don't you think that some how in some capacity it makes them more ethical and democratic leaders (Just food for thought, not that this part is true) than leaders elsewhere who pretend to function like democracy but ignore the opinion of public at its own convenience?

Muslims are not new arrivals to Europe. They have been there for centuries in many countries specifically Bosnia, Kosovo, Albania and Cyprus.

You need a lot of reading to do. I would say Leila Ahmed's Quiet Revolution is a wonderful book to start with.

I am done talking to you, like I said before its like talking to a wall who keeps on coming up with the same cliched responses.

http://www.gaystarnews.com/article/gay-malaysian-imam-says-homosexuality-and-islam-are-compatible-and-twitter-explodes/#gs.cYZKoS4A gay Muslim imam in Malaysia has caused controversy in his homeland by arguing that there is no condemnation of loving relationships between people of the same sex or being homosexual so long as the individuals involved remain celibate.
The imam, who gave his name as only ‘Adik,’ broadcast his message via the Twitter account @twt_LGBT which is a curated account used by LGBTI Malaysians to talk anonymously about their lives and issues.
Adik was given control of the account for the whole of this week and used it to spark discussion about LGBTI people and their place in the Islamic faith.
‘I am an imam, and I am homosexual,’ Adik announced on Twitter as he began tweeting on Sunday.
‘I live in a medium sized suburban community, working as a mosque executive,’ adding that it was not a ‘progressive community.’
He then asked the internet for questions and it obliged.
Asked if the people around him knew he was gay, Adik responded, ‘Surely no. I am comfortable that way.
Many accused Adik of being unqualified for being an imam because of his sexuality or of mocking religion but he challenged them to find any Islamic text that condemned a person for merely being a homosexual and not specific sexual acts.
‘None also disallow. Prohibition is for sexual acts.’ he tweeted in response.
Adik also revealed that he was in a celibate relationship with another man and that he saw no conflict between that and his faith.
‘Take note, I am a celibat[e] imam and I have a partner. Celibat[e]: not married and no sex.’
‘According to [Islamic] law, Sex without marriage is a sin. Anal sex (men and women), a sin. I chose to abstain from both.’
Adik’s tweets caused a heated debate online.
‘It’s just crazy to even imagine the concept of a gay imam,’ one user tweeted.
‘I have nothing against gay and I have a gay friend too. But to say that gay isn’t against Islam. It’s so wrong in so many ways.’
However others praised him for his thoughts and candor.
‘Dude you are special. We need more wise people like you,’ another user tweeted.

Most likely nothing, since he wasn't "gay," merely fucking a boy. A lot of fucking of boys by straight men goes on in that corner of the world. If no kissing - only fucking, and only the "bottom" boy is "gay." There was a documentary on PBS last year, about young boys being trained as dancers/concubines to be rented out to Afghan warlords.

There is a Muslim lesbian activist and writer named Irshad Manji who have said things about moderates and reformists [I think she founded the pink Mosque (specifically for LGBT Msulims) in Toronto and PAris, not sure though]

She said moderates do denounce violence and terrorism but they also say that Islam has nothing to do with abuse and terror which is untrue because those carrying out violence and repression are citing religion as a source of their inspiration. What reformist do is that they acknowledge that terrorist are using religion for their own malignant intentions. Morever reformists also engage in Ijtihad (an Islamic tradition of enquiry and critical thinking mostly practiced during the golden age of Islam). It is only though the liberty of critical enquiry that will allow Muslims to take control over such horrific interpretations used by tribal nut job who have way too much clerical powers over their public matters of Muslim people.

While she specifically talked about Islam, I think her words are more or less true for all religion.

In my opinion, when religion goes from personal to public it is bound to fall in pit of hypocrisy and abuse.

Here is a link to one of her interviews:

OUh yeah because you know the only way how evil manifests is through destroying the world, I am beginning to question your morals, I don't think you have any or brain for that matter, you just love to throw some nonsense phrases which do not address anything specific by saying there are '' specific ''issues, no shit, all the islamic community is an issue, it is unhealthy, oppressed, violated, discriminated in every segment - womens rights, infidels, homophobia, you name it, they got it, evil does not only manifest in destroying the world, gosh you are simple minded noob

And so what that muslims are not new to Europe? That obviously did not let them integrate into civilized intelligent society and let them make civil war, at least in medieval times people realized the enemy and that there is state of ideological war and pushed muslims back, now idiots like you contribute to complete dark ages where muslims are infiltrating and brutally overtaking civilized intelligent tolerant societies with their degradation

you are the one who needs to get a new brain, because obviously your ape brain is very limited, nothing against apes of course, intelligent animals.

See, I know how predictable you are. Yap, Yap, Yap!!!!

I want to reserve my intelligent responses for those worthy of an intelligent conversation, not dumb ass, bigots like you. So yes, forget an intelligent response, I will now be having fun with your posts.

you don't have brain capacity to think for yourself, I am not even talking about making something intelligent that is not just a direct derivate from pc police, you are simply too stupid, you are too primitive to conect the dots, your brain is just too small. And I don't think you are in any position of talking if you live in one of the poorest and filthiest places on the planet with hundreds of millions living in extreme poverty, uneducated with overpopulation and slums ( although to be fair I do have respect for indians and relatively peacful and in somewhat inspiring indian culture and religion )
    I love Buddhists more

Too bad, Buddhism is a minority religion here. I will write a letter to our Prime Minister who will be more than happy to have our 173 Muslims converted by force to Buddhism. Although, he would be happier if they could just disappear out of thin air or convert to Hinduism. I will let him know what we can do to make a very important Estonian happy which is that us filthy, overpopulated, poor and uneducated country should not have any position of stating an intelligent opinion.

"Ricky" I would like to thank you for your honest attempt to convey the delicate nature of the Muslim and the inter relation problems.

"Bonif" Your post rather dogmatic and personal seems at best hard to understand, exactly what it is or the etiology of your dissatisfaction of the Muslim crisis, I read these post in hopes to better understand "delicate nature of things". I ask in all fairness.

The other thing I am curious is I've seen commentary about different regions have different ideology and because of this, ferverent conflicts arise and the Islamic religious leaders with in the community try's to keep it in check?

I read where some, like some previously stated in this thread accept individuals who are homosexuals yet other say it is against the teachings? Seems to suggest some may follow the Quran but with some exceptions

For example; Is that to say that some people with in the Muslim/ Islamic community want to branch off the Quran {I am excluding ISIS in this generalization}. Like when the 99 proclamation in Germany was the begining of the split from Roman Catholicismicon_question.gif

Or is that over simplifying things a little bit?

They are depraved, but not because of this.

But then, white Liberals and Leftists are fairly depraved as well. They are so chicken-shit afraid of being called "racist" that they allow Muslims to commit atrocities right before their eyes:

ROTHERHAM: THE PERFECT STORM – An investigation in to Muslim grooming gangs

    Anne Marie Waters

I did not intend to publish this, as I could not complete the work I had set out to do, but I have decided instead to write a personal account of an attempt I made to find out how many girls have been groomed, gang-raped, and prostituted by organised gangs in England over the last five years. I do it obviously not to provide ground-breaking statistics – but to contribute to the national discussion on the phenomenon of so-called “Asian” grooming gangs that has been taking place since the publication of the Jay Report in to widespread sexual abuse, gang-rape, and torture of at least 1,400 young girls in the town of Rotherham in Yorkshire.

The first thing to report is that this figure is simply not obtainable by a member of the public, at least not if you hope to be in any way close to accurate. I am not the first to undertake this effort. A similar attempt was made by the office of the Children’s Commissioner in 2012. That investigation also concluded that an accurate figure could not be obtained.

However, in investigating the matter myself, I found widespread and continuing (despite the Jay Report) lack of any coherent recording of or response to organised gang-rape. What stands out particularly is the lack of data held by local authorities, who in almost all cases, kept no numeric data on children under their care who have reported sexual assault or rape. In almost all cases, I was informed that this information could not be provided as it would take authority staff outside of the 18 hour working time they are obliged to perform on freedom of information requests. The reason it would take longer than 18 hours to provide the data, is that it would entail reading separately through the individual files of all children in their care. In other words, even post-Rotherham, most councils are not attempting to separately record sexual assaults on children under their care, or to paint a broader picture of the problem.

Police records present the same problems. Recording of ethnicity or nationality is widely inconsistent; in many cases the ethnicity of the alleged offender is not recorded, and it is not recorded for victims at all. It is impossible therefore to know just how often this happens, or how many times it has happened.

What we do know is that some police officers and public sector workers have publicly stated that this child grooming by Muslim men has been occurring for decades, and with almost complete impunity. The reasons for this I intend to explore.

Muslims in Germany are raping women on a daily basis.
