I have a couple questions for the guys here who shower at the gym.

How much stuff do you take with you in your gym bag ? I just carry shampoo and soap and deodorant. The other day I saw a guy with a whole thing of stuff hanging off his locker door. Looked like a travel spa to me. He must of had like 10 or so products with him.

Do you guys carry a full shampoo bottle or travel size, or do you have a squeeze bottle you put it in?

Last question...do you have a small bag to take to and from the shower ? I found this little travel bag at Bed Bath and Beyond that seems to work good for me.

my workout shoes, extra set of everything clothes wise, a towel, shampoo, soap, and deodorant/cologne if I remember.

plus any pre workout supplements I might bring along with me.

My gym has all-purpose liquid detergent dispensers in the shower stalls, that I use for my body & hair. All I carry in my gym bag is a deodorant. If they didn't have that, I would bring a bar of Zest soap, that's good for both my body & hair.

Oh, I thought it was the 100,000-post rule. No matter, I had no expectation to address Caslon directly within my lifetime anyway... icon_razz.gif

If I'm not going straight home after the gym, I pack a clean set of clothes, towel, shampoo, soap, razor, maybe a toothbrush, and that's about it.

Logan, don't forget "makeup kit fairy" from LA Fitness. LOL.

I always pack a bag of shorts, underwear, shirt, toiletries, toothbrush, jacket, razor, fanny pack, batteries, candy (for Logan and me), wrist straps, wrist wraps, leg wraps, belt, wrestling shoes, stopwatch, headphones, and sometimes a towel, along with a water jug. I also carry my peepers for tanning, ibuprofen, aspirin (to save a life if need be), and usually a diet pill, or two, and a flashlight. If my next stop is a more formal setting, I'll take the clothes required for that, too.

For flex89, he fudged a bit. We take candy, insulin, insulin syringes, extra tubing for his infusion pump, batteries, his infusion set inserter, and his glucose meter wherever we go.

Many times, we also pack a cooler with our post workout meal.

We have a pre-flight, and departure check list for the sake of discipline and speed.

Eh, I think "pretty" is a stretch. "Unnecessarily gay" would be more appropriate.

I have a travel shaving kit I take in my bag or when I travel, so I don't have to remember to repack it every time. It just stays in my bag. Deodorant, a couple of disposable razors (I use soap instead of shaving creme), toothbrush and toothpaste (I often go before work). Think there is a condom and lube pack, but thats left from my last overnight trip, not the gym lol. I just use the soap/shampoo at the gym like Red Vespa. I have a shower gel, but I only take it traveling not to the gym.
Of course I have my shoes and gym cloths and a towel, my ipod and some pens and paper in my gym bag. Probably a granola bar or two in there somewhere as well as a water bottle.

you know, It's nice to see someone wearing a pump who doesn't sit around all day whining about being diabetic while they eat ho-ho's.

My bathroom stuff might be a little overkill for the gym... but its cause i use my travel bag I bring to work. So when I leave the Fire Station I bring it all with me, and when I go to the gym I got it all with me. Not that it is a lot... but I got more than what I ould need just for the gym.

Plus... usually when I am there it is teaching my spin class. So I have my cycling shoes, ipod and cable to play the music... anti-bacterial wipes for the bike. HA!

Yeah... I bring too much, but it is kind of work and a workout time for me
