I agree too but this is one more example of a Chicken Little at work - in a way that works to his benefit.

So, you think the Arctic sea ice is not affected by the global warming?

Gore/Snore. He was wrong on the timing - but he is no scientist.

I probably won't be around to witness most of the bad things to come, but those of you under 40 or so better get together a plan for how and where you will live when the wars come over water, land, and flooded territories. By then, everyone will have nukes, and we can expect that those losing out will use them. What other choice will they have?

Gore studied Theology in school. Environmentalism has become the religion for atheist liberals.

^ But of course: The earth will turn into a frying pan right after the Rapture.

Now we have a date for the Apocalypse. I'll sleep better tonight.

So that's 1/26/16? There must be some numerological significance to that date...

Its another indicator of the coming climatic chaos. Not caused by climate change though. Keep an eye out, you'll know when it hits. icon_razz.gif

Movies about the end of the Earth due to a cataclysmic cosmic event have been made since the 1950s. Truth is, an asteroid hit is always a possibility. Such is the fragility of our lives here. We just never realized it until modern astronomy informed us.

Uh, Kolonel Klueless, movies about the end of the world go back to the dawn of the talkies, including the aptly titled END OF THE WORLD. icon_wink.gif

Uh, Private Asshole, this current movie is akin in plot to the movies of the 1950s, a direct descendant of them. Please tell us more about this silent movie: Title, Date, Director, Stars, plot line. And how did it influence this current release?
