The scale of the attacks on women at the city's central railway station has shocked Germany. About 1,000 drunk and aggressive young men were involved.

City police chief Wolfgang Albers called it "a completely new dimension of crime". The men were of Arab or North African appearance, he said.

Women were also targeted in Hamburg.

Surely they couldn't have been Muslims if they were drinking booze. Yeah, and it's a religion of peace, too!

Primitive, barbarian pigs, the lot of them. Send 'em packing pronto - and don't send 'em here!

Probably has nothing to do with being muslim, but just with being arabs or from North Africa. If the Germans had any sense, they would arrest them and deport them. It seems like German police are not up to the job of basic security in public places. They need to bring back the German Sheperds they used in World d War II

Roaches is a good term. They will likely say no big deal because some Christians rape women too.

Good! I hope we see more of this type of behavior. This is just what Germany/Europe needs to wake the Hell up. Someone needs to molest Ms. Merkel.

Of course this sort of behaviour is to be condemned. As Angela Merkel said, "Everything must be done to find the perpetrators as quickly and comprehensively as possible and punish them, regardless of their origin or background".

    In other news...
On New Years Eve in America, thirty-six people were shot dead.

Before you can condemn behavior, you must understand it. By its own terms, the Koran provides everything needed to understand the mindless Muslim mind. Tell us the demographic breakdown of the killers and their victims in America this past New Year's Eve.

The Right in America are not interested in understanding gun violence. But then, it's easier to ignore the epidemic of gun violence in your own back yard when you're conveniently fixating on lesser crimes in someone else's.

I think the NSA already took care of that.

Translation: you don't know what you're talking about. Now, you have me doubting even the accuracy of the raw number of those 36 deaths you mentioned. And, no one's "ignoring the 'epidemic of gun violence'"* in the USA. We're just not buying into the ridiculously false reasons offered to explain it.

How about, until you get it through your thick right-wing skulls that it's a problem that won't be resolved by throwing more guns at it.

And the straw men keep on coming! Protecting the right to bear arms under our II Amdt. =/= "throwing more guns" at the problem. Taking guns away from - and incarcerating and executing - those who wrongly use them IS a big part of resolving the problem.

Of course, that old, immovable, incongruous tenet - "the right to bear arms". It's ironic that, these days, it sounds more like a line from the Koran than something from the extant law of a modern Western democracy.

No, it's an amendment to our Constitution, necessitated because your country deprived us of this basic American right. Either you get it or you don't; not many foreigners do, which is fine with me as long as they don't dictate to us on its origin, necessity, scope, or interpretation. And, to compare it to the Koran reveals a misunderstanding of our principle of church-state separation. What was that about "Fidei Defensatrix" again?

Necessitated circa 1791 and unnecessary (nay pernicious) in 2016.

According to a Brit who can't even get the year of our Constitution right.

The Second Amendment was adopted in 1791. If you were referring to the Constitution, rather than the amendment, then you should have been more specific. (I shouldn't have to tell a lawyer that.)
