Tremor detected near North Korea nuclear site

China, Japan and South Korea have all said there are indications the tremor was man-made, meaning the North may have carried out a new nuclear test.

North Korean state media has said a "special, significant" announcement will be made shortly.

South Korean ministers are holding an emergency meeting, the Yonhap state news agency said.

We'll have to wait and see what DOE and AEC make of the data. They have deduced from the seismic signature that some of North Korea's previous "achievements" were in fact duds.

I'm more worried about the day coming when one of their tests is NOT a "dud". I think North Korea is a far bigger problem than Iran is. That leader is just crazy drunk on power, and that spells all kinds of dangerous.

The more appropriate question is what [the hell!] is up with the US and its allies?

+1, they are in the process of finalizing their Taepo Dong 2 missile from what I heard, and the above news is alarming...since they could pre launch a missile strike to the US mainland with the following cities being primary targets: Anchorage, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles would be hit. Also, China continues to harbor and protect them.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea or North Korea is basically a heavily armed cornered rat that is potentially lethal to world peace. This is probably why China is urging everyone to handle this fierce fascist dictatorship with kid gloves because this country could cause very serious problems and even start world war three.

Excluding Anchorage from that list, we as a country would probably be better off without any of the cities you listed. icon_wink.gif
Watch it SB, I have relatives in Seattle which is a very beautiful, clean, modern city.
