Either look is good on you. For me a factor with a beard has been maintenance. It's very easy to keep it short with an electric beard trimmer. The work comes with shaping: the neck, the cheeks (in my case), around the nose and mouth.

I find I spend more time on a beard than on being clean-shaven all over. I just run an electric razor over my entire face, it's done.

But this is your choice, and your look. My own exception to that rule for myself has been the guy I'm with. I always considered his input.

Because he hadda look at it more than I did, and snuggle up against it. I mean, if we're trying to make ourselves look good, for whom are we looking good? It oughta be the guy who matters the most to us, wouldn't you agree?

That is a hot beard. A lot of guys only wish they could do that.

In classical Greece, a gentleman who was fully mature no longer shaved his face trying to make his cheek look smooth and soft like a baby's butt (that was the attitude.)

I grew mine when I was three years older than you are, at the death of Glenn, a beloved friend. Had it ever since. It can become part of who you are. I think you look really sharp and entirely natural with it.

MuchMoreThanMuscle saidIt looks good on you. Keep it, but I would advise on not letting it get any longer.

Agree. Long, unkempt, scraggly beards do nothing for me.

Maybe trim it a little bit. I think in your profile you look the best with a little scruff, better than full grown beard.

You look better without it . Without it, your face appears more angular; with it, more rounded.

    Without it, definitely younger.
