I did find this new feature in Settings turned on, on both our iPhones. I have Cellular turned off anyway, unless I want it, not sure if that makes any difference. I turned "WiFi Assist" off. Thanks, if that makes for any change in our billing.

As Bob just said, this is turned on by default. Again, beware!!!!

And if you're going to get turned on by anything .....

Oh shit... I just got back from Christmas/New Years vacation a few days ago and I noticed a couple of times while on vacation I got one or two of those close to overage messages… I just now turned off the data assist as it showed in the video, and I'm hoping the damage isn't too bad, since I haven't received my new bill yet…

Odd, the symbol for the Android system is a robot. Seems like those users are the bots, with their blind devotion to their own operating system, and their constant emotional attacks on the Apple iOS, along with personal insults of those who use it.

Um, Uncle Art? Dial it down a notch. I'm an Android user and I haven't disparaged your phone choice. You're replying to "robbaker," this site's number two troll. Put him on ignore.

First, I said nothing about RJ Android users in general, or exclusively in this regard. I find this same hostile attitude to Apple users elsewhere on the Net.

Second, RJ has had it's share of Apple haters in the past, not just robbaker. Whom I agree is a troll. And not even a gay-friendly one.

Third, the Ignore function is mostly a waste. You can still end up seeing a blocked person's posts when others quote him. And if he's not quoted, you remain ignorant of any lies he's spreading about you. I suppose ignorance is bliss, but I prefer to know what I'm up against, and what others are reading about me, and possibly are being led to falsely think. And also about other members & topics here.

I think most people have RobBaker all wrong. Yes - he is "trolling" but not so much spite, as humor. He is a voyeur who likes to see how people react when he says something contrary. I don't believe his opinions are actually THAT strong or cares one way or the other... it's a game to him. ;) If it pisses people off, it's because they LET it. A "devil's advocate" if you will. Best I can tell, he is a contrarian with ALL things/sides. icon_rolleyes.gif

I could be wrong... but that's how it appears to me.

Yes, probably a release from all that meek patisserie work he has to do. If he played the c*nt with his customers like he does here, he'd be out of business in no time.
