When it hits 1 billion I'm gonna put down my dollar and if I win, I'm gonna get me this ice-class puppy to circumnavigate Greenland to witness the melting. Then we're gonna head down to the Med for cocktails.

I'm gonna have to presell cabin space for the first month's journey. I figure $.25 from mindgarden and he can be our onboard scientist. For $.25 you can provide the news of the day--we'll have satellite, of course, and bring your mom (we'll have a nurse on board for her who doubles as crew). You guys can share a cabin and I'll build in a Pullman in case you want to bring your sister. Let's see, I need another 50 cent out of this motley crew. Well, I'll hold a lottery to see who get's to chip in for that.

We'll name the vessel: NO REPUBLICANS ALLOWED

    The dinghy we'll call GOPless

I wouldn't know what to do with that much money for myself apart from maybe have a small car collection but what I would do is help out a lot of homeless people and set up a charity to help them, buy some big buildings and kit them out so they have somewhere warm to sleep, feed and clean themselves up.
I would keep half a million for myself and the rest would be used for that purpose.

I have been casually looking at property along the california coast. There is not much available and what is available is super expensive...to the point that it is not realistic even if we put our money together. Some of my neighbors and I would like to build a retirement community for us to eventually move into. $700 would probably be enough to buy the land, develop it, and maintain it. ;)

First thing I'd do with that money is pay of my parents' houses, and then give them each $20 million to retire on. Then pay for my siblings' college and get them each a condo or home of their choosing to live in to set them up for life once they are out of college and have a job. After all that it done, I'd get a nice condo for myself in a city, put enough away to live off of interest. Not sure what I'd do with the rest; probably spend it on my relatives.

It's up to over $$800 mil for tonight drawing. lol dang so much money eh, I got my ticket last night. I'd be happy just to win the 5 numbers without the jackpot lol, imagine this thing will go over 1 billion if there's no winner tonight. I might just buy Paramount or Plan B production company and retire in my private island in Bora Bora and go incognito like Johnny Depp if I win. icon_redface.gificon_razz.gificon_lol.gif

I think its just everyone checking numbers at the same time

I find it funny, once again, that winners, matching five numbers, are once again in far away, out in the boonies someplace, where we know the majority of ticket sales come from the big cites in CA, with such HUGE odds of winning anything, why do these far away places keep winning?

Nipton and Mountain Pass are in the same desert area on the way to Las Vegas, NOBODY actually lives here icon_eek.gif

If someone says anything other than this and has close family/relatives then they are basically a piece of shit.

Yeah, but after taxes and lump sum penalty it's only going to be about five or six hundred million...pffft...icon_rolleyes.gif

P.S. So Mick Jagger's ex is engaged to Rupert (11.2 billion) Murdoch. He's 84 and she's...oldish....Mmmmm...I like those odds!
