    New FDA guidelines unveiled Thursday recommend limiting the amount of added sugars in our diet to no more than 10% of daily calories — about 12 teaspoons of sugar a day

    They've been saying that for years, but they haven't been giving a #$(%*#ing *number*.

    Sorry, a little bitter here.

    I *HOPE* this means that soon when you look at the back of a jar of peanut butter and see that each serving has 2g sugar, it will tell you how *much* of that 10-12 teaspoons this represents.

    Not holding my breath though. I expect figuring out which seemingly normal foods have harmful sugar levels will still require manual conversion (or a smartphone or a conversion table). icon_rolleyes.gif

    AND, all of a sudden the incredible, edible egg isn't so bad for you. Grows an entire entity from just perfect amino-acid-profiled proteins, and fats loaded with nutrition, and no carbs to speak of... who knew!
