GMO should be banned, we have no idea what is going to happen to the food chain after a few generations, it is banned in Europe thank god but probably not for long, time will tell, people on the whole don't want it and as usual are ignored by the big corporations.
Whole foods super market even though they market themselves as organic, quote me if i'm wrong are using GM in their food too?????????
Where is all this madness going?

It's hard to find a product at Whole Food that does not have industrially produced canola oil in it. Canola oil is an invention of Monsanto.

There are a few Whole Foods markets in the UK, Piccadilly in London being the one I have been to several times, I did ask about GM and they told me that everything is organic but i'm not sure if GM is in anything or not so will have to look at the labels for canola oil next time i'm there so thanks for the info.

"Here are just a few facts everyone should know before buying anything containing canola. Canola is not the name of a natural plant but a made-up word, from the words "Canada" and "oil". Canola is a genetically engineered plant developed in Canada from the Rapeseed Plant, which is part of the mustard family of plants. According to AgriAlternatives, The Online Innovation, and Technology Magazine for Farmers, "By nature, these rapeseed oils, which have long been used to produce oils for industrial purposes, are... toxic to humans and other animals". (This, by the way, is one of the websites singing the praises of the new canola industry.) "
